Sleeping Beauty

(No-One's P.O.V)

Courtney and Heather were best friends. They always did everything together; going out to the cinema, clubbing and sleepovers at each other's houses. They even talked about everything, until one day, Heather got herself a boyfriend. Prince Duncan. Courtney began to get jealous of how much time Heather and Duncan were spending with each other…

"But you always spend time with Duncan! We never even hang out as friends anymore!" the petite brunette ranted.

"Well, I have a boyfriend now, so I can't spend every single second with you!" the raven haired female argued back.

"You need to make time! We're supposed to be best friends!" the onyx-eyed girl shouted furiously.

"I guess we're not friends anymore!" and with that said, Heather stormed off to find Duncan, leaving a gobsmacked Courtney behind.

Courtney flopped down onto a wooden bench a few feet away from her near a pond.

‘What have I done? Why did we have to get into an argument? Now I have lost Heather for sure!’ she thought grimly.

Prince Duncan was walking around town when he found Courtney sitting on a bench, hugging her knees while tears brimmed her smouldering orbs.

"Hey, are you ok?" the teal-eyed male asked softly.

"No, and who are you anyway?" Courtney snapped, throwing him an icy glare.

"I'm Prince Duncan," he replied, only smirking at her cold shoulder-ness. "What's the matter?"

Teal eyes met onyx eyes and their gazes locked.

'Gosh, his eyes are pretty!' Courtney thought, a light chagrin pink staining her cheeks.

"I'm Courtney," she told him.

'She's really hot!' Duncan smirked, licking his lips.

"It's just that… Heather has been so mean to me!” she threw her arms into the air, “Calling me names and… she stormed off!"

"It'll be ok," he mumbled, falling for her tricks, and pulled her into his arms.

She looked up at him, a small smile showing, and they both leaned in. Duncan's lips crashed onto hers.
