Infection
Infection is about Masuyo and her friends fighting to survive Halloween night against zombies. But they don't have much time because the Infection is spreading. Most of the town is taken over and if they don't stop it now there won't be much human left.
"Wh-why do we have to take a short cut through a c-cemetary..?" I asked in my high pitched voice.
"Don't worry, Masuyo. We're almost home." Said Yunhee.
We were walking through a cemetary late at night. Tomorrow was Halloween. Usually when I'm with my friends I wouldn't be so scared as I was right now. But something felt very off.
I quickly scanned the faces of my best friends, There was Yunhee, Chex, Scar, Kysoke, and Lucy. Everyone else was either at Yunhee's house already or at their own.
The little brown bag full of light Halloween decorations bumped against my legs as I walked. We were so late because we had all gone to get Halloween decorations to have a party.
I was trying to walk slower than everyone else, I usually walked somewhat fast. Tonight I did not want to be infront. Just incase..
I looked at one of the graves, and then out behind from it, quick as lightning it came.
It's rotting flesh, tattered clothes, blood dripping off those hands that have probably killed already. and the mouth, gapping open revealing the yellowing teeth stained with blood of it's victims.
I screamed and dropped to the ground putting my arms over my head. The bag smacked me in the back making me lean forward.
I could hear everyone else scream and some running. Had they left me?! I heard a muffled laugh from infront of me. I looked up slightly. Damian was holding the head of monster and was looking down at me laughing.
"Damn person!" Cried out Chex. Chex gave everyone a nickname, mine was Kaeru.
Scar punched him lightly on his arm. Kysoke crouched down beside me, putting a arm on my back, "You ok, Masu?" He said.
"um.. Y-Yeah.. I knew it wasn't real" I replied. Everyone laughed a little.
"Wh-what's so funny?!" I cried, my voice getting higher. A couple of them laughed a little more. Everyone except Lucy. I always wondered Lucy hung out with us when he did.
Yunhee helped me up and hugged me, "You should be ashamed of yourself, Damian. Scaring poor Masu like that." She said.
"I-I wasn't that scared!" I piped up.
I heard Scar chuckle. I glared at him, but I guess he didn't see.
We began our journey back home.
I was very jumpy after that. What if a zombie really was gonna jump out and get us...?
I was a very paranoid type person. Inside I knew something like that could never really happend.
But it did.
