Fangs and Wands

I know I should feel fear but all I feel are his cold fingers across my cheek. Each section of my cheek his boney white fingers touched tingled. I stared into his red hungry eyes with not even a single ounce of fear. "Hmm." he said in a musical tone. "Aren't you frightened of me?" he said his eyes twinkling in delight. "No." I said confidently. "No? Really?" his voice so smooth and soothing. "Really." I said my voice strong. "Hmm." he said again. He smiled a beautiful yet malicious smile then he dashed off into the forest. I was alone in the creepy forest that was growing darker every second. "Theo?!" I called out into the dark forest. My voice faded away and instantly it was silent. I heard a small crack from behind me, a twig maybe? I turned around quickly frightened but I could see nothing in the dense trees. I wanted to scream and run off but I knew that'd just make me lost and alone so I stayed put. Where's Theodore? I heard a faint chuckle that seemed so close it could be right next to me. "Theo?" my voice shook. "Theodore?" I called a little stronger and a bit louder. "Yes?" he breathed into my ear. I shivered. "Where'd you go?" I asked barely using a whisper. "Hmm?" he said his voice so beautiful I knew I'd never get used to it. "Where did you go?" I asked. "No where." he said. I knew he was lying but shrugged it off he'd tell me eventually. I looked at the sky it was getting really dark. "You'd better take me home." I told him. "Aw man!" he said. I giggled. "What?" he asked tilting his head to the side. I could only see his outline now for the sun was nearly entirely set. "Nothing you just sounded so...American." I giggled again and he smiled. Theo was born in England in the eighteen hundreds and became a vampire at age 16. I suddenly started to freak out. "Theo we have to go now! My dad is going to murder me if I'm not home in like 2 minutes!" From behind someone scooped me up and we were flying. The wind flew through my hair and it stung my eyes to keep them open but it was worth the sting. Everything was blurred and it was like looking out a car window on the highway. It was absolutely gorgeous. In what seemed like maybe 2 seconds we were at my house. When Theo let me down I was in shock. It took my a second to regather my thoughts. "Theo?" "Yes Rayelle?" he said I got shivers when he said my name. I took a deep breathe. "That. Was. Amazing." He smiled. "I'm glad you liked it, but I highly suggest you get inside before you're late and your dad doesn't let me take you out ever again." he said it so fast I could hardly understand but I understood enough to know I should go inside now. "Bye Theo. See you..." I paused when would I see him again? "Saturday." Theo said. He gave me a short hug, smiled and then dashed off into the forest. I went inside and as I closed the door I heard my dad yell "Dang it Ray almost late again!" I ignored him and went up to my room. I closed the door on my dad's yelling. Taking a deep breathe I wandered over to my closet to change into my pajamas. I put on my brother's stolen boxers and a tank top. And when I was all dressed I turned around and began to scream when a warm hand covered my mouth. "It's me Ray." Matthew said smilng. "Matt you scared me. Wait.." I paused. "How long were you standing there?" I could feel my face heating up and my eyes got really big. "I just got here I swear!" Matt's eyes betrayed only honesty. "Okay." I nodded then gathered my thoughts. "So what are you doing here?" I asked him. "I came because I need to talk to you." Matt gave me a serious look. "About what?" I asked a little worried. "It's about your mom." I looked up at him my eyes wide and he nodded in understanding. "Matt." I paused. "Matt, what did you find out about my mother?" It was silent in my room Matt took a deep breathe. "Ray your mother was a witch."
