The Love That Lasts Forever

I woke up screaming from my nightmare, clinging to my covers, I was screaming Jayson's name.
In my dream, the Skank (formally known as Sierra) shot Jayson and pointed the gun at my head as I kneeled to my fallen love. He was dripping blood all over and with his final burst of energy, pointed to Skank. I turned my head when she fired.
Thank God for waking us up if we have a nightmare.
I looked at my phone, 5 new texts from Jayson. They read:
meet me @ the parkin lot 2morrah
you ther?
Sarah....baby what's wrong y aren't u txtin bak?
* Sarah plz i love you so much*
goodnite
I sighed and thought to myself, "Worry-wart."
I texted him saying:
Omg yur such a worrywart everythins fine i was just sleepin, i think thts what yur sposed to do @ 3am lol love you too hun, nite
He replied saying:
* i kno i am, and sorry if i woke you up, c u 2morrow.....what else was i gunna say oh yeah, I LOVE YOU :)*
I rolled my eyes and went back to sleep.

The next morning I was walking to me and Jayson's spot when Skank pops up.
"Hey ho."
"Hey Skank of the century!," I said with sarcasm and a little truth as I pushed past her to sit down.
"Hey Babe," Jayson greeted me.
"He-," I was cut off because that was when the clouds darkened and it started pouring rain.
Jayson's eyes went really wide. " WE HAVE TO GET INSIDE! COME ON!"
He took my hand and pulled me into the building. Then sirens went off.
The teachers were directing us to a humungous room.
We sat on the floor and at this point I was on the verge of tears.
"Jayson...what's happening?!," I sobbed.
"Shhh...it will be over soon."
He cradled me like a baby then everything went black. The last consious thing I saw was a giant metal rod go through the window of the room and people screaming.



Sarah, Jayson and their classmates died because of Hurricane Katrina. The worst storm the hit the Gulf Coast since Hurricane Andrew. Over 1,000 lives were lost due to flooding, drowning, and being in toxic water too long.
God help them.....
