Haunted
Ouija can't do anything. yeah it can ruin lives, but.... oh yeah, it can!
Chapter 1
Wrenda
Should I have regretted that night? I mean, come on, it was a dare, and it completely goes against all aspects of me to refuse a dare. Though, I bet it was my brothers’ faults, for even thinking up of such a thing. I blame myself for taking it. I, Daniela (Danny!!) Stone, ruined my life with one game of Ouija.

“Are you chicken?!” My brother, Drew, exclaimed, imitating a very stupid looking chicken, making the sounds. Ania, my older sister would be furious if she knew we were even playing this game, AT MIDNIGHT!
“I SWEAR!” I threatened, pulling my fist up.
“Calm down,” my other brother Jay warned. I hated both of them….
I set up the Ouija board and sat back, folding my arms across my chest, glaring at Drew. He smirked and placed his hands on the planchette, awaiting me. I repeated his actions and concentrated… the burning smell of lavender incense irritated my nose. Jay dimmed the lights, and Drew and I waited, slowly circling the object to lure a spirit in. After a few minutes passed, the air suddenly grew cold and the planchette started moving.
Me and Drew grinned at each other.
“Hello.” Drew greeted.
The planchette moved across the board, from H to E, stayed on the L for two seconds, then stopped at O.
“How old are you?” I tried. No answer.
Before Drew could ask a third question, the spirit started another message again. D-i-e-d Y-o-u-n-g. I started to feel a little sorry.
“How?”
S-l-a-u-g-h-t-e-r-e-d. I suddenly felt a little nauseous. This guy was beginning to creep me out.
“Can you show us a sign that you are here?” Drew added stupidly.
The ghost went silent again. Then, the table started to lift. I was hyperventilating, but Jay calmed me down.
“Slaughtered! A flying table! You have to be the worst ghost I’ve ever met!” Drew mocked. I was gonna knock the living daylights out of him, but it was already too late.
B-i-g m-i-s-t-a-k-e. A sudden wind threw my hair in all directions and we both fell off our chairs. And then it stopped. Complete and utter silence.
“This game’s jacked up,” Drew commented, disappointed as he stood up and parted his hair into its regular messiness.
I punched Drew in the arm, and then went upstairs to wash my face and brush my teeth. Who knew the second I stood up from that game, my life would become a living horror.
