ProfPollitt's Good Vs. Well Quiz

Remember:
Good - is an adjective and is used to modify nouns and pronouns
Well - is an adverb and is used to modify action verbs (how something is done)

*Be careful when confronted with sensory linking verbs. Ex. "John looks ___ today." We would use "good" because "look" is being used as a linking verb not an action verb.

Exception: Use well to refer to someone's health. Ex. "I am not feeling well today."
