You find love when you least expect it

My life right now.... not so great,
My mum just died.
And now my dad wants to move all the way to California to leave her memory behind us....
Not really up for the idea, but hey... I got no choice,
It was my last day at school, until I move that is, I was already walking to the bus stop, hoping that Alicia was there early.
I sat down on the seat waiting, for the bus or Alicia, whatever one comes first.
“SABRINA!!!”There’s Alicia, was the first thing that popped into my head.
“Yo what’s wrong?”
I said pretty much laughing at her; she was running to me with her arms open wide,
She ran right into me for a hug,
“I’m gonna miss you when you’re gone”
She wouldn’t let go of me,
She was hugging me to tight I couldn’t breathe properly,
“S-stop “was the only thing that came out,
“Oh haha sorry” you got to love her though,
“Don’t worry I got a whole day to spend with you”
I was at school going to fourth period; I was at my locker getting out my text books for math.....ewww
“Omg did you see that one part where Taylor Lautner......”and that where I lost her, lol I grabbed my final book and closed my locker,
I turned around and see Shannon,
This guy i have been crushing on since the 7th grade.
“Hey Sabrina”
“Heyy”
Omg he remembers my name, wow how lame was that!
“I heard it’s your last day of school, I heard about your mum, sorry about that”
Omg Shannon is talking to me.... clam down!
“Thanks it’s not like it was your fault”
Shannon chuckled,
Why did I say that?
“Well I wanted to tell you something before you leave”
Shannon started looking down,
“Yeaaaaa...?”
I said it more sounding like it was a question.
“Well the thing is, I fell in love with you the first time I saw you”

“You’re only telling me this now, because I have felt the same way”
He pulled me in for a hug.
“Sorry I was afraid”
Shannon whispered into my ear,
I looked up into his eyes, a beautiful hazel colour,
Shannon was getting closer and closer by the second,
And without realizing his lips gently connected to mine.
Wow, that was an amazing first kiss,
At the end of the day Shannon and Alicia came to my place to say-bye.
“Sabrina, who am i gonna hang out with when you’re gone?”
Alicia kept asking questions,
“Im gonna miss you”
Alicia said turning it into a tight hug,
“I’ll miss you too”
I turned around to face Shannon.
“So I guess this is good-bye”
I said giving him a hug as well, as Shannon held me, he whispered into my ear,
“Only for now”
He kissed my forehead and said “see ya” then walked away.
I watched him walk away, feeling horrible.
“BEEP BEEP!!”
My thoughts were interrupted by the car horn,
“Hurry up!! Where gonna be far behind time!!”My dad started screaming at me.
Got in the car and looked out the window,
I waved to Alicia as a tear ran down my eye,


We were driving for at least 2 hours now,
I was tired but now enough to fall asleep, so it took out a book and started to read”his robot girlfriend”

‘Mike’s life was crap.....’

When i woke up it was 4 in the morning,
Where is dad? I tried looking around,
I was in a car park....
Thanks dad!! Didn’t wake me up how slack,
I couldn’t see anything but the light from the moon.
I put my feet up on the seat and grabbed my iPod from my bag,
Then all of a sudden there was a man walking towards the car... oh no..
I jumped down onto the floor,
Maybe he didn’t see me? Then someone’s had was on the window,
“AHHHHH!!!!!!!!”
I think I shat my pants!!
I jumped into the front and beeped the horn until all the lights went on in the car park.
When the lights turned on the man was gone,
But there standing was my dad standing there with a very angry old lady..
What?....
“SABRINA!”my dad screamed at me, charging towards the car.
