Isabeel and Ferdinand

Once upon a time (this happen guys in the fifteenth century- about the year 1470), there was a young girl. She was the daughter of a king, but after her father having married again, he had no time for the children of his last wife and he negletcted them and left them to live quite penniless in a castle on an ioslated spot of his kingdom.

The kingdom was call Casteilla (which in spanish os the feminine forn of castle) and is was called that cuz of many castles existing in the region.

This girl, when she was little and still living with her father the king (and therfore considered a desirable princess) was betrothes to a prince of another kingdom not far away (at least not far away for today standards).
Oops i almost forgot, the girls name is Isabella.

Well, the prince, who btw was called Ferdinand, grew up to be a younger boy quite handsome and very proud of himself. Exert with the sword, for in those days that's wat they did most of the time, that and riding or hunting were the pastimes of those days.. He was very proud of his expertise on all those things and thought he deserved to be a king, ever if he knew that wouldn't be possible, being the youngest of his family, his older brothers would inherit the kingdom before him.
