"Your scent disgusts me." I snarled.
He was close, I knew it.
"As does yours to me. Give it up."
I swallowed slowly, I had to think fast.
"Well? Aznia, Its the end of the Line. You can't kill me. You know it."
"Shut up!" I snarled aggressively, though deep down, I knew it. He was right.
I heard him snicker. That's when I snapped.
I leaped up to where he was standing, and sunk my teeth into his shoulder.

Chapter 1- She Wolf

by: iWoof
Up ahead, black clouds loomed in the skies. Lightning Flashed and thunder boomed. I crouched lower, deep into the mud. My fur, which was usually pure white, was stained a dull brown colour from the mud. Eagerly, my emerald green eyes rocked back and forth, looking for supper. My stomach growled, and I was getting impatient. There had to be something out their for me to eat. Something. That's when my eyes caught a glimpse of something. A small brown deer. It was limping badly. Looked like another wolf had already had a go at it. Perfect. I don't like killing for no reason, now I had one. I sat up a little and edged forward, the mud hiding both my scent and my footsteps. When I was only a few feet away, hiding behind a shrub, I sprang my paws off the ground and jumped onto my prey. The small brown deer looked at me with scared hazel eyes.
"Sorry little guy, I'll put you out of misery." I muttered under my breath before I sank my teeth into its neck. I felt the flutter of its heart, before the beating came to an abrupt end. The deer was dead. I then removed my fangs from the deer and gave it a moment of silence. I then grabbed it by one of its legs and began to drag it back to my den.

The mud made my progress slow. Though when I got out of the wet lands, it made things a little easier. I gazed up from my dragging position and looked for the entrance of my den. It was there, a small cavern which I called home. I then continued to drag my supper to the cavern. Once inside, I dragged the carcass to the very back of the den. The darkest part. I laid it there, and phased into my human form. I gazed at my human hands, and I smiled. I then went to put on my same outfit I always wore. As a human, I was slightly tanned and had white hair. Not grey, white. My eyes, were still an emerald green and I wore a white tank top that was stretched and grey worn out jeans. I then walked over to my mirror, which was a part of broken glass I found on the side of the road. I frowned in the mirror. I was only seventeen, and I was stuck that age forever. Though in a way, It was a good feeling to know I would never get wrinkles or get old, though I would never find a loved one. For over over two hundred years, I've stayed that way.

My theory is that once we reach a certain age, our kind stops growing. Problem is, I'm the only one of my kind. I never smell or sense them. I've travelled many places, though I've never felt anything unusual at all. Not a trace. That's why I live alone, out her in the wilderness. The only comfort I have is from other wolves. Although I am more like a Were-wolf, I see them as my brethren. Though I can't even bare to be around them for too long, as I know the fate that will befall them. I would make friends, and after a few years, I would lose them. Fact is, I am a freak, In my point of view, a monster. Though that is my fate, although you can change your path, you can't change your fate. To escape my sadness, I gathered some wood from my fire wood pile that I collect through the week, and placed it on a small spot at the back of the cave. I quickly grabbed my two flints from the darkest end of the cave, which was next to the deer. The good thing was about my cave, no people could see properly into my cave. It was my safe haven. Though I still had to ward of unwanted visitors like bats, wolves, bears and other creatures to keep my catch. With my two pieces of flint, I light the wood and a cosy fire appeared in front of me. I sought warmth from the fire, and watched the ferocious lightning crack outside. A chill ran down my spine as I moved closer to the fire. I glanced back at the carcass of the deer. I then heard the loud rumbling of my stomach. I giggled and brought the corpse over and began to cook my meal. After cooking, I took off my clothes and phased into a wolf once again, and began to gorge on the meal. Once I was finished I licked my lips and grabbed what was left of the carcass out into the bush. When I was far enough from my den, I laid the remains down and returned to my den. Once inside, I went back to the darkest part of the cave and laid my head to rest. I grabbed my nearby blue quilt which had a moon on it. I found it outside someone's house ready for the garbage truck to pick up, so I decided to salvage it. Although it was torn, I didn't want it to go to waste, also it was quite warm. The day had been rough, I was exhausted and my stomach was full. Though before I ever went to sleep, I would think about my race. Was there more of my race or was I just the lonely She-wolf that ceased to exist? I wasn't quite sure, though I wasn't quite sure about a lot of things. Like where I came from. I don't have any memories of my parents or my family. Perhaps I would never know. Though I was too tired to think of those things, and I drifted off to sleep, thinking and dreaming of things that made more sense, as the storm raged on outside my den. Then, all of my surroundings vanished, everything went mute, I was asleep.
