My body burned.
Pain sired through me.
Silence stretched in eerie blackness. I could feel myself breathing. I knew I was. But I wasn’t there. I was I a mist of Haziness. Where was I? I did not know how I got here. Or even what was here. I was a frozen statue. Numb with pain. I desired not to move. Frozen with fear and nothingness, I waited. For what? For I to become the dirt? Or to become a statue. Or to wait for nothingness for eternity. There was not time, no sense, nothing. A light bobbed in the distance.
I was going to die.
The light bobbed closer.
I was ready for it to take me.
Suddenly words unnaturally slithered out of the light. Leaning closer they whispered into my ears.
“Sialco, Easkla faln, sOnt?”
What is this human, falls world ours?”
Wait, was that right.
“Nika, sOnt!”
“I don’t know!” Frustration was clearly hearable.
The words were coming in now. Like small crystals placing together.

My heart skipped a beat. An icicle set into my heart.
A voice slithered across the ground, a voice that was pure chilling.
There was no need for translation.
“Get her, I’ll be waiting.”
Gulping I realized that this was not a light. Not death. But worse. A lantern held by two evil servants. I tried not to panic. They were almost upon me now. My heart was desperately trying to fly out of my chest. “What do we have here?” There were two very tall girls. Both had eyes that were changing colours. Ears that had dagger tips. Black dresses with gold embroidery, gave them a ghostly appearance. “Come with us!” There voices were as dangerous as poison. I tried to get up. Dagger pain gripped my leg. “Get the bag.” The older looking one with the voice of ice hissed.
My breath came in ragged moments. A taupe bag was placed in front of me. Glistening dust was pulled out. Little star like light was being shone. My leg was deadened with ice pain. “Now let us see if she can walk,” one sneered at me. They yank me to my feet. Tears brimmed in my ears. The pain! Knifes with electricity like pain shot up my legs. “Good.”
The younger one whispered,” She will be much better once we are done with her.”
Staggering half being dragged over daggers for rocks we walked on.
Land was covered in endless night. I could make out nothing. I was covered in dirt.
When it was night I did not know. The evil servants never let me sleep. They walked in the same direction. They never got tiered. It was like a magnetic force was pulling and that was all that mattered. Silica, who was the younger one never spoke but was bullied around by her older sister, Sintice. My lips bled ever day. My eyes burned with lack of sleep. I became a bag of bones. We did not eat. They did not suffer. I did.
It was pure torture.

Then half a sleep, walking I felt a rough shake and a hit on the head. “ Wake up!”
Thump and a burning cheek. Spider webs were distinct on this tower. An every lasting shadow on this place.
As we stepped in the looming structure high voice of ice hissed,” You are here. Bring it to me.”
We climbed stone stairs. Ten stories. Looking out of little slots in the brick, the ground disappeared at a dizzying pace. We finally came to room at the top. The air was so cold my breath came out in a white ghost of a cloud. You are here.” Hissed a high-powered voice by the stone chair. The room had a black purple glow. The only light came from an ice fire.
“Show here to me,” the words echoed off the walls, echoing like an ice cracking in a valley. She pushed me forward. I came face to face with the cruelest creature ever.

The being was tall, but slouched in her chair. Her eyes were a piercing blue. She was a beautiful with long black hair and an unsharpened face. But her gaze was devious. She smiled and pointed strait white teeth sowed. Her smile was a sneer in disguise. She stood up and she wore a black dress. She soared beyond my on height. She smiled, “ I am Diree.” then she spoke to Sintice “ Let the girl dress and clean herself the she will dine with me.” Her voice seemed persuasive and direct. After bathing myself, I found, a night purple dress on the bed that was laid out before me. The material was like water. When I put it on I felt my throbbing body restructure.

I rushed down the stairs. My hunger from the past had made me famished.
The dress went down to my toes.
As I was running my leg get caught in the hem with the ground falling underneath me a fell down three flights of stairs and managed to cut my knee. As a finally managed to get to my feet Sintice with her usal evil face saw me and harshly stood me. She hauled me to my chair. “Your guest is here.”
“Let me see here, come here child.”
I walked forward.
“Now tell me dear child how did you come here?”
When I did not and could not answer here, trying to remained composed she hissed, “Tell me child. “ There was a pause when I complicate to the thought. Now to I the thought sneaked up to my mind. I did not know how I got here. I could not remember much of home or that day. I cold hand gripped my stomach as this bitter image was placed into my head. “ NO matter.” The woman flicked her hand as she called out “ Silica, Get over here with the meal." Her voice was so stern it was like a hammer hitting the table. I want to eat the meal that had been laid out before me, for there might be hidden venom in every plate. But oh how ravenous was. The thought of eating forced me to lean forward and grabbed some red salad. The food I saw was not like regular cooking but quite similar. There was a black chicken leg or looked like a chicken leg. Lots of salads made out of odd vegetables. These plants were green and fresh but there was no light outdoors. “ The vegetables, there are green and fresh but there is no light.” My curiosity had grabbed my tongue. “The green house.” I was shocked thinking that she would not answer me. She sat there with her jaw firmly set and her temper rising. What did I do? It was a simple question. “Take her to the green house. I think the work will teach her how to hold her tongue.” My footsteps echoed in the halls. There had been a false glow here. But then the glow had been sucked with it life. I could see my breath echo off the walls. A faint blue light glowed near on the top of the stairs. It became closer and closer. My breath blew white and my fingers shook. Inside the greenhouse were cruel plants equally ugly and beautiful. All inky black night purple our poison green and blue. My stomach turned looking at them. They moved. Like snakes. Twisting their body around, snapping jaws, sap oozing out of slits in their arms the plats that had teeth snapped then furiously. But the smell of this place was unbearable. Blood and mint mixed. Barley able to control my stomach Sintice pushed me forward. “Your new home.” she hissed he voice equally as poisonous as her master’s. Two figures scurried around. Heads lowed. Their feet clinking with chains. Many chains. I caught a glimpse of one. A shiver shook me. There was little hope of me forgetting that face. There was a dull white gaze for eye pupils. Tattoo’s crawled her face red and black. The marking moving, pulsing. A light blinked murky green, matching the rhythm of the tattoo.
All this and an endless plea, help me, help me. They knew I could not help. I was just a stranger. Yet I stood there guilty of nothing unable to help her and them. Yet Sintice shoves them out of her way. A question hit my head. What were they? Over and over again. The living carnivores watched me. Waiting to take a bite. We came to a stonewall. Sintice walked right through!
What! Just because she had some kind of fantastical power did not mean I did too. But I had too for her voice hissed are you coming or not. I took a gulp of air and ran. The wall came closer, closer. Was going to break my face if I took one more step. I burst of light.
Sweet musical laughter filled the air.
Then it was gone.
The happiness.
I was standing in a room.
There were people there or what looked like people, but no Sintice
I could not hear her. Even in the gloom She was not there.I Was alone.
