I woke up this morning with a bright smile and then noticed it wasn't the weekend. The sun was shining brightly but i didn't feel very sunny today, my mood started to change and it got worse. I woke up and went to work, i put in the yellowish creamy slip in a timer to clock my self in. I work at a poor old store in the corner of Willburts Street, and not many people come in and get food because they saw a rat eating a mango a couple of days ago. "Hey Sammy" a voice behind me said. I turned around and caught my self gazing into the most beautiful green eyes. "H...Hi" i stuttered, His name was Josh he just started working here and always greeted me before work. He would talk to me once in a while but i never really respond.
"How's everything going?" Josh looked at me with big green eyes, "F...Fine i..g...guess" { i sound like a complete fool! F....Fine that's stupid why can't i just say what i want to..} Josh tried to fix his black hair before he answered " You okay Sammy? You sound like you've been stuck in the meat locker for a week" i stared at him " Yeah i...i" The boss interrupted me, and announced a new employee at the poor store. { How can a poor store higher so many people with no money?} " Ladies and gentle men there is a new employee her name is Martha and i would like it if you welcomed her with our best warm welcome. Back to work!" Martha was tall, blonde and was wearing a white T-Shirt with our supper markets logo, brown pants and she had golden brown eyes. They where like caramel, you could just get lost in them. Josh looked at her almost drooling and walked away from me. {Great... Why is it always the blondes?} "Josh!" he turned around nervous "What Sammy?!" i looked at him angry "You didn't even let me finish talking... you just" my voice softened "walked away" Josh looked at me scanning me. " Sorry i did that... i just thought you'd.... ya know.... do the same" he looked away " I was kinda hoping you wouldn't notice and we'd go our own way like we usually do" he looked back at me with sorrow in his eyes.
"It's okay... i guess i'll be on my way then..." { I've had a secret crush on Josh since he started working here. But... Now i'm getting the feeling Martha is going to ruin everything I've been planning.
