I got out of his grasp and smoothed out my clothes. "Well thanks again, Trevor." I said smiling tentatively. "I gotta go now." I said while looking around. The halls were deserted and it was only me and Trevor now. "Alright..see you later?" Trevor said his eyes sad. "Yeah. See you later." I whispered as I turned around and walked towards my Gym class. I got there a few minutes late but the teacher (thank god) didn't see me. I changed into a loose T-shirt and some shorts, I walked out just in time to see Trevor running laps. Oh god...he's in gym class with me! He saw me and smiled while running up to me. "Lexi!" He cried while giving me a bear hug. "Hey!" I said out of breath. "Okay everyone! Were gonna start this year off with some basketball. I'll be pairing up your partners for today. I'd also like to introduce you to the new kid in our school, Trevor Staffle, some of u may know him, but I'd like to say he was the captain of his basketball team last year at his school. So if you need some pointers go ahead and ask him." Mr.Gurchson announced.
Then Mr.Gurchson started pairing people up.
"Trevor with Cody"
"Gina with Charlene"
"Josh with Max"
"Lexi with Megan"
Five minutes later
Megan was one of those girls who are popular and so arrogant. But whatever... "Hi' I said shyly. "I can't believe Mr.Gurchson partnered me up with you." "What?" "Dont act so sweet. I know you're going for Trevor and you can't get him because look at yourself. You. are. a. mess. I'm the popular girl and you're Miss Nobody so don't even try. If I see you with him again I swear to god you'll regret it you lousy, stupid b!tch." I threw the ball at her hard. "I know for a fact that Trevor would never go out with a ret@rded stuck up snob like yourself. I may not have a chance with him, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to try. I can be his friend and you can't push me around like a puppet thinking i'll obey you. You think you're so important, but you're no different from everyone else in this school. You try to hard." I said not noticing I was close to yelling. Everyone around me had stopped and stared at me and some were even cheering "Go Lexi! Show her!" Megan was furious. I didn't know how furious she was until I saw the ball coming straight towards me fast. It knocked me in the side of my head. As I fell on the floor, the world around me blurring.
