Cassies POV So today, I woke up feeling good. I think my heart is finally healing. I mean Dylan is no prince charming, but prince charming is overrated anyway. Right? Anyway, the point is I'm getting over you know who.. So tomorrow I'm going over to Demi's with Dylan to help paint. I'm really looking forward to just hanging out with my friends. No drama. Just friends and fun. I think I deserve a fun day for once. Today I'm going to be on Regis and Kelly, so I'm picking out the perfect outfit to wear before I go. I'm really nervous because I have to perform, so I had to find my bracelet that Nick gave me. I really shouldn't wear it, but it calms me. It makes me happy, so I'm wearing it. That's that. I called it good and headed to the Regis and Kelly Studio. LATER "Singing Take Me Along, Cassie" I heard Kelly say. Okay, this is it, no backing out. The music started I got nervous so I just looked at my wrist. No matter what, nick was always there. He always would be. All my nerves went away. I started singing, belting out the chorus with all I had, knowing I had written this song about Nick. I finished and said my thank yous and headed home for the day. NICKS POV Cassie''s supposed to be on Regis and Kelly today, so I decided to watch to show my support. I really want to be friends. She's moved on, and I'm starting to too. I flipped on the tv just in time to see her standing on stage. She was beautiful. She started singing and I knew that the song was about me. I can't blame her. What I do wonder is what she was going to talk to me about before I broke up with her. I hope it wasn't too important. I was deep in thought when I glanced at the tv again and noticed she was wearing the bracelet I had given her. She was finished and she nailed it. I told her the bracelet would always help her. This just proves it. Before walking of stage she blew a kiss. She was great. NEXT DAY NICKS POV Right now I'm driving me and Brooke to Demi's to help paint. I'm wearing crappy clothes because we're painting, you'd think Brooke would take that into condsideration. Wouldn't you? Seriously, who wears that to paint? We pulled into the appartment parking lot and headed up to Demi's. "Hey!" Demi said opening the door. "Hey" I said to her, and I waved at Joe. He waved back. "So, um this is Brooke." I said introducing the two. "Hey Brooke, I'm Demi." she smiled. "Hi." Brooke replied taking out her phone to text. I gave Demi a sympethetic smile and grabbed a paint brush. CASSIES POV Dylan is driving us to Demi's place. All while critizing my performance and outfit yesterday on Regis and Kelly. "All I'm saying is you should've worn an all black dress. It would've made you look less hipy. Oh, don't run around so much while singing. It makes you run out of breath." He finally finished. "Okay." I sighed. Psh.. as if he knew how to perform. Come on. We pulled into the parking lot and went inside. We found her appartment and knocked. "Um hey guys." Demi said. She seemed uneasy. "hey." I said entering her appartment with Dylan behind me. I walked into the living room to see Joe painting with Nick and some fake blonde. Nick looked up at me. I couldn't look away. We just stared. I saw Dylan look at the girl, and she looked at him. Almost like they knew each other. Weird. The tension grew as Nick and I stared at each other. This should be interesting...
