The Great Escape (Redone)
Everyone has feelings.. for other people, for possessions, even for themselves. They're everywhere. Yet when you look into the eyes of an animal, the windows to their soul, you may see blackness. You may see many types of feeling. What they've gone through... maybe that's what you'll see when you look into Antons eyes. Or Lexias. Possibly Kingpin's... maybe Pony's. Zeus? Trinity? Any of these would make you weep.
From the look in their eyes, you may see the world differently.
Anton sighed on a wintry night in the arctic. "Lexia.." he groaned. He rest his head on a snowy paw. "What is it, Anton?" she stood up, her belly swelling. She set her jet black eyes towards the green lights in the Alaska sky. "Is it possible we can get some sleep? I know you have needs..." gesturing his own jet black eyes towards her bulging stomach. "But if we continue like this, all the good meat will be gone.." He pursed his furry lips, waiting for a reply. "Look, hon, with all our luck, we could do anything!" Lexia whisper-barked. She finally lay down, her eyes still on the stars. "But what if....?" Anton shifted his position to his head on her stomach. She smiled, the way arctic wolves smile, and said "It won't, Anton." And Anton heard no more as he fell asleep listening to the winds of an Alaska night.
