Souls - Poem
'Souls' is a non-rhyming poem I created by mere curiosity of Them.
Chapter 1
Souls
If souls are eternal,
do they never shatter?
When our body dies,
does our soul stretch out?
Out to where the dead roams,
or to the core of energy itself,
Wrapping its arms around each
and every one of us,
Warming and cooling us
with its utter strength,
Seldom does it mingle with us,
why - we wouldn't give it a thought,
So it continues to use its purpose,
That purpose no person knows.
do they never shatter?
When our body dies,
does our soul stretch out?
Out to where the dead roams,
or to the core of energy itself,
Wrapping its arms around each
and every one of us,
Warming and cooling us
with its utter strength,
Seldom does it mingle with us,
why - we wouldn't give it a thought,
So it continues to use its purpose,
That purpose no person knows.
