Chapter 1

The princess and the servant

Pacing around was not enough for her. It just added to her nervous establishment. And sadly, there was no hope for her. The prince, who selfishly went to another princess, Had left her there like a Juliet that had no Romeo to care for her. Stuck in a room for a long time almost killed her, giving her thoughts of more bloodthirsty crime. So yes, what if she did kill the prince and his wife? Did it matter? All her life, taking the blame of that treacherous servant, Alumno, showed to be better said than done. Good thing was that Alumno used poison in order to prevent the prince from screaming. And better yet was Alumno's idea of twisting the thin, frail neck of the princess. And who got the blame? Poor old Princess Doloria. Blood in her hands, swords at her feet, and even worse, jewelery and clothing that smelled terribly alcoholic and made of pure Gold and gemstones. Alumno made her drink, put on the traps, left the prince stabbed, princess twisted and Doloria to look like a mad woman. All for revenge. Doloria paced around more until her feet hurt from walking herself to probable death. She lied down on the bed made of old hay and blankets made of sack material and rotten from the rats. A single mouse, which made Doloria company, was curled by the chain she wore on her neck. The chain in which Alumno threw at the head when he claimed her the murderess. Doloria swore to herself to never take it off until the time came to claim Alumno as the murderer and was taken to the same room. Then an idea occured to her. she woke up the mouse and spoke to it.
" my dear friend, an idea has just been sent to my mind at this exact moment!" And so the mouse responded
"And what would that be, Your Highness?"
"Perhaps you can break out of this thre chamber, get me an animal with blood, drag it to the door of Alumno, and leave it at his mouth. A goose's head might do enough." The princess beamed at the thought and the mouse thought about it.
"That is brilliant, princess. but there is no escape route in this chamber other than the window and the wooden door."
The princess then sagged, only to rise up once more and whisper in the mouse's ear. The mouse took great consideration of this. Approximately at noon did the slave come to the chmber to serve Doloria a minimum of a few table scraps and leftovers from Alumno, Lorest, and Volterron, all the servants of the King. The slave arrived, opened the door carefully, and placed a small plate on a table, precisely where the mouse perched on. then Doloria did her part.
"Slave boy, my dear, please if you don't mind, open the window. I am old an frail, and have not the capability and strength to open it."
The slave boy, who was stupider than a donkey, went inside. At the moment's thought, she attacked him, sealed his mouth, chopped his head off with his sword, and threw it to the mouse. The mouse instantly transformed into a cat and went to alumno's chamber. The slave's head in mouth, the cat went down to Alumno's chamber, where he was resting. He laid the slave's head on the floor, blood dripping out and soaking into the holes that spotted the wooden floors. He turned into a human, opened the door and walked in. He became a cat once more, dragged the head, and laid it on the hand of the servant. The cat quickly ran down to the princesses chamber and brought the body, the sword and became human to write on the floor "Death to the innocent Doloria" then the mouse took it's original form and went down the pipe that leads to Doloria's chamber. He whispered every detail and told the princess to cry as if attacked as well, since there was blood everywhere. Soon enough, Doloria started to cry at the scream Lorest emmited at the sight of Alumno. He quickly got up, drunk from the feast and looked around. Doloria soon gave a loud wail from the hidden pipe, in which Lorest quickly found. she quickly went downstairs and left guards in Alumno's room. Doloria hugged her knees at a corner of the bed, eyes wide in fake shock. Lorest then heard the details that Princess had spoken, this time actually believing her. meanwhile, Alumno had a strong desire to know what was going on. His eyes hit something dark red while looking at the pipe. he looked down and there was the slave's body, torn and broken. on the floor was the message that he supposaly wrote. Death to the innocent Doloria. Alumno turned pasty white and fainted at the thought of princess Doloria's words before her arrest.
"There will be a time when you will fall to your doom. when all of my subjects will know that you killed my dear prince! Murderer!" and thats where he had laughed and thrown the chain on her neck, attempting to choke her, but rather fit fine. And so, Alumno, drunk, stupefied and shocked on this moment, blinked at the ceiling that was scratched with the fingernails of Doloria when she was left in the room. The exact room where he had killed the prince and princess. Doloria cried until she could. Lorest held her to her chest until she had stopped crying. The mouse took the shape of a snake and curled at Doloria's knees. Lorest jumped, but Doloria simply touched the snake and let it wrap on her wrist, a sign of friendship. Lorest understood and went back to the hug. The guards arrested Alumno. Doloria heard this and quickly sprang up. She ran up the stairs and ran down one floor which she had ran as an extra. Alumno squirmed under the hands of the guards and tried all the best he could. Doloria appeared and the guards stood there, uncertain what to do. Lorest soon appeared, huffing from running after Doloria, stood in front of Doloria and said that she would be free for the moment. The guards went on their way, but that didn't stop Alumno from screaming out the wierdest of things.
" She is the murderess! She killed the slave and dragged his head to my chamber, setting it as a trap! No! You shan't arrest me! NOOOOOO!!!!!!"
The king, hearing all the racket, had ordered the guards, Alumno, Lorest and Doloria to come into the court. Alumno, siting with a pouting face, was really upset to hear all of the commotion that happened. The king had asked questions that were answered by Doloria and Lorest. Suddenly, Alumno burst out into many words. " Your highness, you really speak a lot. all this time have you been yapping away about your various problems and have been speaking of how you had confused Doloria for me. Well, sir, I have no intention of going to that chamber." The king was furious at having to be offended like this. "Guards! slay him!" Alumno quickly escaped from the metal chains."Not on my sword!!" Hurling the sword, both king and guards were killed. He ran out. Now, Doloria had more to concern herself about. Lorest ran after Alumno and never came back. Now, Doloria was left alone... And so, the story begins...
