Help
She can't find a way to live in lonliness and he's trying to help. She just wants to find someone before she meets death and he wants to save her before she goes.
Chapter 1
Blackened Tears
Silent sobs echo in her desolate room as she remembers her mistakes. She recalls the first boy she ever loved who tried using her, the second one who never even loved her, and all of her hopes that have been shot down before she was even given a chance. She tosses her slender figure onto the purple sheets of her bed screamin and pulling at her shining brown hair. Her mother doesn't even bother to ask her what's wrong; tshe's gotten used to it by now. Her sobs eventually cease and she glides over to her mirror to look at her sparkling blue eyes. With a last sniffle, she wipes away the black tear streaks stained by mascara and eyeliner. A muffled ring comes out of her hoodie from her phone. It was a message from Alex.
-Hey Ellie. I need to talk to you. Could you meet me outside for a sec?-
She smiled knowing that Alex always wanted to talk to her about what would make her happy. She changed into a purple tanktop with a black skull on it, white skinny jeans, black converse, and her gray hoodie. She reapplied the black makeup that was erased by her tears and jumped out of her second-story bedroom window to the ground below where Alex was waiting under an oak tree.
"Why do you always have to jump Sky. You could hurt yourself you know."he said caringly. She looked up to his silvery eyes that were partially covered by jet black hair. Looking at him always made her smile. She never knew why though.
"Well then shouldn't you catch me?" She giggled out. Alex responded with a smile and gave her a reassuring hug. His hugs always reminded her that no matter what happened that he'd always be there for her.
"So, where do you wanna go? Were already out here."he asked.
"Since the mosquitos are gone for the winter i think we sould go to the beach."she always loved the beach. The sound of the sparking waves crawling up the white sand always made her simle.
"Sounds like a plan Sky. Now lets get in my car." Alex never went anywhere without his care. Who would blame him though. He had a black Rouche Mustang. It had black leather, smoke lenses on the lights, and black tire rims. Of course, Sky loved just riding in it.
A few minutes later they were at the beach. As usual, nobody was there so it was as peacefull as it could get. There were crickets chirping from the sand grass and unlit torches dotting the beach. Alex pulled out an old lighter he carried around and lit one of the torches near the water.
"Where's the lighter form? I've never seen you with it before."Alex sighed with a mournfull look on his face.
"That would be why i came here to talk to you Sky. My dad died of lung cancer today. This was his favorite lighter."he held the lighter up to the warm glow of the torch. It was a dark emerald green with gold tribal markings on it that shone in the light.
"I-I'm so sorry Alex."she studdered out remembering how her own fateer had died of the same thing months before.
"It's okay. I've still got you here Sky. As long as you stay right here in Florida, I'll be fine"he smiled and hugged Sky again.
"Well that's good because I'm never leaving."
