LOTRfanatic: 12-20-2010 at 5:44 AMI agree. They changed Faramir a lot too... and the end of RotK
Were_Kutless: 12-20-2010 at 4:23 PMI know my mom doesnt like it it because Fairmer is my mom favortie in the book and in the book he doesnt want power and he is not like his brother! In the movie they make him want the ring but thats not how it is in the book at all! And also Eowin and Him get marryed but if you just watched the movie you would no know for sure... But the movies are awesome so its okay! ;)

In_Love_With_Chase: 02-02-2011 at 4:38 PMlol the movie has some really cute actors! (elijah wood, dominic monaghan, billy boyd)
AcidQueen: 04-16-2011 at 8:52 PMI agree about the Faramir thing. But at least he turned out fine in the end, right?
I'll have to admit that I didn't really miss Bombadil, though! He didn't exactly move the plot forward.
Also didn't like the portrayal of Arwen - she was definitely in into too much and came off more a chickified tennagerish love martyr than the regal, serene lady we see in the books.
warrioress: 11-06-2011 at 7:57 PMThere were many changes that I disliked. Faramir was one and Arwen, but also Elrond's attitude towards Aragorn and Arwen's love. I mean, honestly! In the film he's trying to trick Arwen into leaving Middle Earth! Aragorn's self doubt was unpleasant too. The absence of Halbarad, Imrahil and the sons of Elrond disappointed me a bit as well.
