Sad Truth

It was four days before my 15th birthday. I get a bunch of texts saying "Nick killed himself after school yesterday." I didn't believe it. I thought it was one of his stupid jokes. It turned out to be all true. That Tuesday at lunch he was pretty mad but it all seemed okay. Then I get on the bus and my friend, Kayci says "Lizzi, did you know Nick killed himself." Of course I just shook my head. I walked into school and none of our guy friends were there. So I looked for my friend, Tabbi she was crying. I asked where Becca was and turns out she was in the locker room crying. I soon realized it was true. And spent the rest of my time in the guidance office. I couldn't stand lunch, I lost it. So we were like zombies the rest of the day. I couldn't take anymore of it so I carved his full name, Nicholas Ray Conley into my side. And was in the hospital. I couldn't believe he did that before my birthday. He was coming to it. So I went to the candle lights and viewings, and funeral. Oh did I wish he would wake back up and say it was a dream. How I cried forever. And I still cry.
