Poetry of a Tragedy

Reads: 10 | Chapters: 3 |

This is simply a few poems I wrote. I've been feeling down lately, and it's just some things that happened several years or months ago. It will probably suck, i'm not much of a poet, but I wish that you enjoy it. NOTE: I will gradually be adding more poems.

Chapter 1

Sweetie Mae

Like sharp knives stabbing every part,
Thats how the pain feels,
The taste of it so bitter and tart,
The feeling is just too real,
Your urn sits on a sacred shelf,
Ashes waiting for life,
I simply can't believe myself,
Going through this strife,
Memories course through me like a river,
Thoughts of you in my head,
An orange canine that never shivered,
That I always sung to bed,
An ounce of dachshund blood in your veins,
Corgi was in there too,
I hate to know you were having pains,
When you were to chew,
I don't know why you walked and lay,
Behind the clean tire,
For never could you play,
Yet I still feel so tired,
I visit there plenty of times,
And think of that March day,
I wish I had, yet I didn't,
Kiss my Sweetie Mae

R.I.P. Sweetie Mae, what a wonderful one you were
