THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES

"Hello"? that was me I had just woke up,in some strange olden times castle,still wearing the same clothes from yesterday,wait!! yesterday!! when my life was normal I was just Katelina Mclaren,a 17 year old high school student!!
Now look at me! I know nothing about where I am,my cellphone ,purse,make-up,ipod,coupons and pepper spray (great now I can't even defend myself) were all taken from my bag.Unbelievable!
Wait whats that? It's a sort of humming,it's coming from the room above mine.
I decided to investigate,I walked through the lonely hallway and up the spiralling staircase,(all filled with these ancient paintings) all the while getting more and more curious and afraid at the same time.I finally reached the door,hesitating I pushed it open and saw.......................... a girl?? She could be about 18? She was beautifull,like a sort of dark beauty,she had long wavy hair the color of autum red and brown that reached all the way to her waist,she was combing it in the mirror ,her back to me. When she turned,she looked at me gravely and said "Ah,so this is the Katelina I've so often heard of!".Wait,heard of me?? often?? All this things swimming aroung in my brain,but just couldn't come out in words,I knew why,it was her! the way her gazed locked mine or maybe that intense beauty like no other.She had red lips (like cherries) and grey/blue eyes,very dainty yet sharp features.(Who ever said perfect doesn't exist definitely has to make an exception for this beautiful stranger).Also she was really pale.
"Exuse me"? she said "Am I interuppting your thoughts"?
"uh no" that was me.pathetic I know! I couldn't find the words to speak.
"Well anyway i'm Annabella,the vampiress of this castle"
"wait a minute did you just say VAMPIRE????" on the last word I was practically screaming .Looks like I found the words after all.
"well yes,I thought a good shock like that would bring you to your senses"
well,one vampire I could deal with.
"so umm how many vampires or humans live here"? I asked,trying to sound casual.
"oh,it's only vampires except for you of course"
I swallowed,ok,I told myself .Relax,relax.calm! Then suddenly this deep voice called out.
"Anna,will you be so kind to bring our guest down,i've been dying to meet her".
"Yes,Arlendale,in a minute"
"Who's Arlendale?"
"umm he's like the vampire father of this castle and our coven"
"oh" was all I could manage.
"ok,here put this on" Annabella instructed.
She threw a maroon dress at me and matching shoes,I struggled into it.
"umm,this is kinda old" I remarked,it was long sleeve,with a corset and it flared out at the bottom.It was like something from the 1864's.
"We like to dress a little different,you know keep the old traditions".
"right" I said.
Finally after I had got that dress on ( the corset was rather tight and I felt as if I was suffocating through my stomach) we went downstairs,or flew would be a better word,because after Annabella realised I was walking to slow down the millions of steps,she sighed,took my hand and ran down.It felt like flying to me,I mean my feet were barely touching the ground!.
After we landed and I got over my dizziness,we rushed outside to the garden.and in the middle was a table filled with all sorts of fruit,toast,eggs,bacon,juices and even cereal.
"Breakfast" Annabella whispered.
"Well my dear ,you must be starving" said that same deep voice from behind us.
I whirled around and saw Arlendale,who could have been Annabella's twin,they looked exactly the same,except his hair was black,and his eye's a golden brown.All the same he was beautiful.
Annabella moved towards him and gave him a slight kiss on the cheek.
I was too stunned to do anything.
"Let's progress shall we" Arlendale gestured toward the table"
I moved like a zombie and sat down,Annabella sat next to me and Arlendale opposite me.
"So "he said conversationally as he buttered a piece of toast.(since do vampires eat anything instead of blood?)
Then as if he had read my mind he said"We can eat food you know,we just have to have the right amount of blood in us too" he smiled at the word blood.
"Aren't you going to eat anything my dear?" he asked.
"Um yes" I said,helping myself to a small amount of fruit salad and orange juice.
It wasn't until I took the first bite that I realised I was starving,so I finished that and ate more until I felt like I was about to burst.( and the corset made it worse).
"Has Anna already told you about why you here?" Arlendale asked politely.
"Uh no" I hadn't really thought about that.
"Well you know just like humans ,you get the good and the bad vampires"
He stooped to watch my reaction,I composed it into a serene mask.
He chuckled and went on " well our coven are on the good side and Larzar's coven is bad,Larzar is our enemy and much stronger than any of us and wants to defeat us"
"Here's where YOU come in" Annabella continued the story."You do know good and evil fight,and you are the um lets say the chosen one".
"It is your destiny to fight Larzar and his coven with our help and proper training of course"
"Wait,what?" I asked confused."I'm human"!! I protested.
"Exactly why .it is said in the great vampire chronicles that the good coven along with the chosen human will defeat Larzar and bring peace to our world" Arlendale pointed out.
"OK,so umm what do I do?" I said I still haven't grasped the scenario yet and was so shocked I just agreed.
"Well training first of course,Anna get her out of those clothes and meet in the battlefield in 20 minutes" Arlendale instructed.
