    you know, in the early roman times, there used to be a pagan ritual. it was the winter festival or something. To convert the pagans to christians the pope decided to celeberate jesus's birthday during the festival itself. and so 25th of dec. came to be called Jesus's birthday. As to the question if the scientists found out jesus's real birthday i'd be glad to celeberate it then :)

    Well, Christmas are about Jesus Christ, but it would surely seem a little bit strange the first years...
    By the way, there are still quite a few people who don't celebrate Christmas but the winter festival in Latvia...

    According to maps and the stars and how the Earth tilts the birth of Jesus Christ was a approximation. But no matter what Jesus is my Savior and I will always celebrate his birth on Christmas Day.

    It's really not about the guy for me, more about spending the day with family, and the one day snow is welcome at my house. If they prove when he was actually born and want to make a holiday out of it, great, but I'm going to celebrate both anyways.

    of course i would! how can i celebrate christmas on a different day? its not like when they proved the moon wasn't made of cheese who'll freak out because Jesus wasn't born on the same day we celebrate his birth?

    I think you would celebrate it on the same day still, but you would get school off for both days, and it would be up to your family which day you would celebrate, but I would celebrate both! :D

    jesus was born in march, the roman catholic church chose this time because of the pagan religions. i dont believe in religion. christmas is a holiday for family and gain wieght. ill keep celebrating it in december.
