If I Fall Will You Catch Me?

-Chapter 1-
The skies were a crystal blue without a cloud in sight. I sighed as I hopped out of bed and got dressed. Nothing really happened here, Iknew what I would be doing for the whole day, nothing.While I walked to the kitchen to make breakfast, I noticed a shiny letter on the clear glass coffee table. Whatever, I thought.

The rest of my family got up soon after. I was looking at the T.V without my brain really knowing what was going on. It was one of those daydreams that make your face go blank and all your senses are dimmed, although you could feel, see and hear the things around you, it wasn't really being registered properly.

My younger brother, Pete, came into the lounge room and sat next to me. He changed the channel and I woke from my zombie-like state. As Pete gave me one of those confused adorable kids' faces, I shrugged and he continued watching Spongebob. Suddenly I couldn't take it anymore. I walked out of the room into the Kitchen where that gleaming white-gray letter was mocking me right in the face.

I picked it up, it was strangly heavy. Embroided on the back was some sort of sheild, with the name, "Howarts" on it with four animals printed across it. The front was adressed to me. I nearly jumped back with surprize, I wasn't that popular at school. Half the school was jealous of me and the other half were too scared to even look me in the eye. I did have one really good friend though, her name is Claire. We became friends one night when someone was harassing her and I stuck up for her. Since then we've been unseperable. Well, used to be. Until last year, she hasn't been that "in touch" with me. For nearly three-quaters ofthe year she's been at a different school, she won't even tell me which one.
My mother walked into the kitchen in a pink bath-robe.

'Morning Darling' she said to me, and kissed me on the forehead.
'Morning' I whispered, barely able to speak in shock. I never took my eyes of the letter. Her Eyes followed my gaze and she looked into my arms.
'Oh, is that a letter for you?' She asked curiously. Geez, my mother loves a good mystery, she goes blimey about them. Dad on the ohter hand, well he prefers to be locked up in his study all day writing his new book. He even stopped coming to meals.
'Yeah' I said, my voice nearly cracking.
'Well, what are you waiting for? Open It!' she said excitedly. for a second I took my eyes of the letter and gave her one of my little eye-rolls. she laughed and urged me to open it.
'Ok, ok, keep your shirt on' I said sarcastically.
I sat down on the black leather couch and my mother sat down next to me. Carefully, I opened the letter without ripping it. There was a note in very expensive paper, I noticed. I love to draw, I know practically everything about paper, pencils, paint, any stationary and anything to do with art. The note read:

Dear Belle Parker,

We are delighted to inform you that you have been accepted into the school Hogwarts,we hope you are delighted for only the best and finest wizards and witches are accepted. Please reply in no more than seventy-two hours, If not you will be automatically marked as not coming. Once you read this letter an owl will come to collect your reply. Enclosed with this letter is a list of things that you will be needing to have for your school year. Please tell your Muggle mother to drop you off at Kings Cross station on the 4th Of February. We hope you will able to attend, as we will be eagerly awaiting to see the daughter of one of the greatest wizards to create a spell. Kind Regards,
Professor Dumbledore Himself.

Wow, what the hell was that all about....

*please tell me if you like it, and I will write more. Please excuse any mistakes in grammar and yes I know that SPOILER ALERT! Dumbledore dies in the half-blood prince, but whatever. Sorry this one didn't have any Draco but I'll try and make the next one better! (if you guys even want another part)
