The Pickle that Could Fly............

I began my day like usual, sleeping in till school was over. My mom didnt care she wasnt even a pickle! She was..... just a cucumber. My dad and sister were cucumbers also. I went to a cucumber school. I was the only pickle there, except for a wierd teacher who thought she was a watermelon. Why would a watermelon be here anyway? Mom always tried to get me up, but it was a failure. The only thing that woke me up was the school bell. I live next to the school.
"Son! Get down here, NOW!!" my dad yelled.
I awoke from my slumber and went down to meet him. Iknew this couldnt be good. I walked downstairs.
"I hear you've been skipping school a lot"
"No, I only stayed home today because...," I thought quickly,"my stomach hurts"
I made little groanig sounds.
"Really? Because a minute ago you seemed just fine" he replied.
My cover was blown.
"get ready, or you'll be late, again"
I scrambled upstairs. I looked around for my books. I ran downstairs and out the door. I ran across the street to the school. I had just made it.
I could tell ya about my day of school but its some boring crap, so ill move on
I zipped out of school, the bullies were beating me up, again. I ran as fast as i could toward the house. I slammed the door shut. No one was home, There was a note on the table. It said:
Bob- We'll be gone for the rest of the day. Your sister came home and was bitten up by cucumber beetles. We'll be at the Hospital for a while. Eat out all though theres no money. Oh well, you'll find something! Bye-mom
Oh great, I thought to myself. I looked in the fridge it was completely empty.
I ran upstairs. I turned my TV on.
"Theres never anything good on"
I went to the window and looked out, it was still daylight. Some stars were peaking out though.hmmmmm
"this probably wont work, but its worth a shot," I looked up to the stars and closed my eyes" I wish I Could fly and stuff like in the movies"
With that, I laid down and fell asleep.
