Annie Belle
I'm just now giving writing a shot so please comment on how I did. (Remember: I'm 13)
Chapter 1
Beginnings
Annie Belle was a rich 13 year old that had straight blond hair and hazel eyes. She attended Gertrude Middle School, of course, it was a private school. She took singing and piano lessons everyday at precisely 3:29 from Gertrude. Gertrude Whaler was a woman of wealth, high confidence, good stature, but was very friendly and easy to talk to. She was in her late 20s. She had short curly black hair, brown eyes, and seemingly perfect cheekbones. Annie would always go to practice with her best friend, Elizabeth Jina (Lisa). She was 14 years old, long flowing brown hair, and hazel eyes. Both Gertrude and Lisa were quaint with their futures, but Annie wasn't so sure. Her parents fought every night and her dog was close to dieing. One of her parents would accuse the other one of something or blame them for something that happened and it would break into yelling, cussing, and always come close to hitting. Annie had never seen any compassion come out of them to anyone. The neighbor, the maid, the butler, Lisa, Annie... none of them had ever experienced a kind word come from thier mouth, not even please or thank you. Her dog Nate had cancer and was supposed to die within the year or he could live in pain for the rest of his life and on top of that he was abused by Annie's parents. They never liked Nate for who-knows-why. Annie secretly wishes she could be of mid-class or even no-class instead of first-class. Who knows, maybe her wish will come true.
"Annie Belle, you get your a.ss down here! Your dieing mutt needs to use the exterior!", my mother yells at me after getting in a fight with my father. I don't think they love each other anymore(if they ever did). Well I know they don't love me. "Why can't you send Henry to do it?!" Henry is our butler, he'll do anything to get his house back. "No! I will not tolerate this... THIS... crap. Now come help your dog. I SAID...now." That's my mother trying to not be so angry, probably because she has an important business call in five minutes. I rush down the stairs only to be stopped by my little sisters, Rosetta and Thumbalina. "I'm sorry I can't play with you now." Thumbalina puts on her puppy face,"Pleeeeeeeeeease! I wanna play chutes and ladders." "I have to take Nate on a walk." Rosetta scowls and says,"I wish that dog would just die already." I tap her on the back of the head,"That's just plain evil." As I push her aside my mother screams,"I just saw a mouse! Daniel I thought you had an exterminator come by the house this afternoon!" They start screaming at each other. I slip out the door with Nate and the sun warms my face as we walk. I try to get him to play with me. I ran ahead while I watched for some kind of a reaction. I ran right into someone. I turn around while saying,"I'm so sorr...." I lost my apology when I looked at this God. He was perfectly tanned, had gorgeous blond hair, and blue eyes. His muscles were so big and toned so nicely. I started to wonder how long I was looking at him but I couldn't stop looking at his marvelous eyes. He stares at me as well, "A... hi... I'm... a... Coriander." I giggle uncontrollably, "Hello Coriander. I'm Annie. Annie Belle and this is Nate. We live in the mansion down the street. Why don't you come visit us sometime." He replies as I turn around,"Um...k...I'll...I'll do that." I come home to the same words I left with,"Pleeeeeeeeeease! I wanna play chutes and ladders." I sigh with irritation and a hint of relief,"Fine." We play the game and I win so they yell,"REMATCH!" Mother yells,"Shut-up I'm on the phone!" and we resume our playing. We play for several hours. We stop as Henry comes in the room and announces,"Wash up. It is almost time for supper." The dinner bell chimes and we rush to the table. It appears that mother is not coming to supper, again. Father sighs and says,"It wasn't always like this." Wow was there compassion in his voice? "I mean she wasn't always working. She actually had time to do fun things that we liked to do." It was silent for the rest of supper. I was wondering the whole time if something good or bad was happening because something was definitely changing.
