“mom! I don’t want to go!” I yelled.
“Im sorry, Caitlin. I haven’t seen Julie since the end of summer after college!” my mom said.
“this summer all I wanted to do was shop, relax and meet some hot—never mind.”
“Caitlin, you can shop in California. You can relax at California, too.”
“but mom!”
“caity, don’t start with me.”
I turned around and stormed to my room. Oh wait, let me introduce myself. Hi, my name is Caitlin beadles. Im 15, almost sweet 16. Anyways, my parents thought it would be fun to go visit some woman from college. My mom hasn’t seen her in like forever. My parents are forcing me and Christian, my brother, to go. Gosh, I wish I didn’t have to go. I wasn’t going to let her win but I needed info. On this family. Oh, I hope they have a cute son! I walked back to the kitchen where me and my mom were. “hey, mom. Since im going to spend my birthday with some losers I don’t even know. Tell me about them.”
“uh. Lets see. They have 3 daughter, ones 15, 13, and the last is 7. Then they have a son who is 11.”
“oh. What are we going to do there?”
“um. I know we are going to go to the beach, up to their cabin. Oh. And down to los angels. Its going to be a lot of fun. But before we meet them we are going to the Bahamas, so get packing.”
“okay.” I was walking to my room when Christian came by and said.
"hey. what does mom mean pack? for Bahamas?"
"uhh yeah. then after that we are going to California to meet one of moms old college friend and her family for the whole summer!"
"oh does she have kids?"
"yeah. 15, 13, 11, and 7 year old."
"oh. okay."
"im packing, so later."
