even if you dont like the movie just give it a chance. please.
It's from Sam's point of view.
Chapter 1
He's Here
My dad was right. The Grid does exist. Now I just have to find him. I'm with Quorra and she says that all of my questions will be answered, but how is that so? I dont know anything about this place and I'm looking to find out more about it. "We're here." she told me as she stopped at the top of what seemed to be like a mountain. I got out of her Light Runner and walked besides her as we entered what seemed to be a house. We walked through white hallways and came through a door where and aged man was sitting on a pillow. She began talking ot him, though I was not paying attention.
"You have a visitor." she told him, motioning for me to walk towards him. "And who may it be?" he asked, not even glancing in my direction. "Dad?" I asked, shocked. He stood and turned to me. "Sam." he said, and closed the distance between us. He embraced me tightly and I put my head in his shoulder as I would when I was younger. He pulled away. "You've grown." he said, looking me up and down. "And your...." I trailed off, looking for the right word. "Old" he finished for me. We both began to laugh and tears glistened in his eyes as mine became blurry. I embraced him once more, and he pulled away again. "Thank you, Quorra." he told her. She just nodded her head and walked into a seperate room, closing the door behind her.
"I'd like you to meet someone Sam." my dad told me, placing a hand on my back and facing me in the opposite direction. He cleared his throat and a man with a mask came out. "Sam, this is Tron." he told me. I couldn't believe I was actually in the same room as Tron. I had heard so much about him. He outstreched his hand, and I eagerly excepted. "Celeste Tron." he said, and the mask faded from the programs face. My eyes widened as I took in the appearance of Tron. He was a girl. She had light brown hair and blue eyes. Her face was of the perfect complexion and her long lashes brushed agaisnt her cheeks whenever she blinked.
She pulled away her hand and stood with her hands at her sides. "At ease, Celeste." my dad told her. She relaxed, but not by much. Her eyes kept on flickering around everywhere. "Celeste, this is my son, Sam." father told her, motioning towards me. "So your the legonday Sam Flynn." she said, walking in a circle around me, and looking me head to toe. "Legendary?" I asked, questioning her use of words. "Your father speaks of you frequently." she said in her perfect bell toned voice. "I would say your more of a legend than me." I told her, sounding so.... American after hearing her speak in proper toungue. "So it seems." she said, returning back to her place in front of me. "Celeste, would you care to join us for dinner?" he asked. "It would be my pleasure." she told him, turnign to face him. "You are excused from your duties and may do what you wish." my dad told her, and she grew even more relaxed, her shoulders even slumped slightly. She walked ober to a white couch and sat sideways, streching her legs and setting her feet on the armrest. I sat on a chair across from her.
"Tell me about yourself." she ordered quietly. "Um, I'm 27. I am not married. Havent dated. Don't have a job. Not much to tell." I told her, looking for her reaction. She kept a straight face. "What about you?" I asked, wanting to know more. she launched into a story, starring off into space as if she had memorized it by heart.
"I was 6 when your father found me; just a year younger than you. I was wandering the streets. My parents had abandoned me ecause of the cost. I never attened school and I had no friends. He said he was on his way to making the biggest discovery the world would ever see, and he wanted me to be apart of it. Not knowing what to do, I grabbed his outstreched hand and joined him. We walked into an arcade, one that I had been to many times. "Where are you taking me?" I had asked when he led me to the game Tron. Before he could start I told him, "Thats my last name you know." "And what is your name?" he asked, looking at me. "Celeste Tron." I told him proudly. I had always been in love with my name. "What a pretty name." he had told me. He dropped my hand and pushed the game aside, revealing a door. He oepned it into an office, and when he sat down and pressed some buttons, we were zapped into Tron. He knew I was destined for something great, because of the coincidence with my name. He took me in as his own, but I never felt like I belonged with him. I knew I belonged in Tron though. In my spare time I would train with him, doing light disc battles and racing through the streets on my lightcycle. I picked up very quickly on all of these things, and soon I was entered in the Grid Games, but as a male so I would earn more respect. Not many respected female participants. I became famous for my wins, legendary you may say. Many were excited to meet me. I quit just a year ago. Your father needed me so I came running to his side. I helped with his every want and his every need. And that is how I am here today."
