More proof...?
This is another of those things I found online. These do come from trustworthy sources, which I will provide as often as possible. This time, the info comes from a closed group I am part of on Facebook, so even if I posted a link, you would have to join the group to be able to see it. So I won't post a link.
Chapter 1
PROOF!!
In parts of Egypt, Set the God of Chaos, of Evil, is called Set-an. Say that out loud. SET-AN. SATAN. Not hard to make the leap. You can see exactly where this came from. Here we go again with more proof that the Bible is truly fallible and wrong.
This is a possible case of what happened in Genesis--the woman (Eve) giving the "apple" (fruit) to Adam (mankind), while the snake (the symbol of the Goddess and of Wisdom) looks on. The Woman is the Goddess, the Mother Goddess, and she gives the fruit of Wisdom to mankind, while her symbol behind/beside her shows that this isn't just some woman, it is the Woman, the Goddess Herself giving a gift to man.
We have that theme in both Greek and Celtic tales that I know specifically of. In Greece, the woman would usually be portrayed as Hera, in the garden of the Hesperides, giving the Golden Apple of Immortality to mankind.
Christianity destroys these tales and twists them and the images that go along with it, demonizing it, and creating tales such as those found in Genesis of the bible. They point out that "Look! It's in our Bible, your story, and, since OUR bible is true, look what it really says of your story! What you think is good, is really evil!" It was just another ploy to get the local people to leave their Pagan/Heathen ways, and turn to christianity.
"The parallel scenes were designed to create another story line than the one that appears on the surface. This typological story line reveals that the Jesus who interacted with the disciples following the
crucifixion, the actual Jesus that Christians have unwittingly wor- shiped for 2,000 years, was Titus Flavius.
The discovery of the Flavian invention of Christianity creates a new understanding of the entire first century C.E. Such a revelation is disorienting, and the reader will find the following points useful in understanding the new history that this work presents.
• Christianity did not originate among the lower classes in Judea.
It was a creation of a Roman imperial family, the Flavians.
• The Gospels were not written by the followers of a Jewish Messiah but by the intellectual circle surrounding the three Flavian emperors: Vespasian and his two sons, Titus and
Domitian.
• The Gospels were written following the 66-73 C.E. war
between the Romans and the Jews, and many of the events of
Jesus' ministry are satirical depictions of events from that war.
• The purpose of Christianity was supersession. It was designed to replace the nationalistic and militaristic messianic movement in Judea with a religion that was pacifistic and would accept Roman rule."

Please tell me your thoughts, whether you like, dislike, don't give a crap, etc.
That's pretty cool.. I think you've shown that to me before, though...
Just the Set-An stuff. The lines from the book I hadn't shown to anyone else before I posted them.
Awesome, Charms!!! Good job.....
okay first of all eve was A woman not a goddess. second of all the fruit wasn't an "apple" that's just a rumor that got started and stuck, you know how that game goes. and thirdly, Adam doesn't represent mankind he is just a man. the first man ever. the snake is satan tempting eve and adam into disobeying God.
I know Eve in the story in the bible was not a Goddess. But in other tales that definitely pre-date Christianity and Judaism, the story of a woman offering an apple (sometimes other fruit, but most often the apple) to man is in culture after culture. Most often, the apple and the eating thereof brings immortality. In those cultures, the snake is always the symbol of wisdom and immortality, and the stories more often than not involve a grove of trees, the snake, and a man and woman/goddess
figure. It is only when the Bible stories are written that the story suddenly becomes one of temptation and the fall of man, the goddess figure turning from benefactor gifting life to mankind to a mere woman falling into sin and taking man with her.
and believe it or not you got your statement backwards. christianity started year 1 AD. the night Jesus was born. Christians didn't "twist" anything it started with Jesus's words and his teachings. the Bible is true! the bible are the words from God himself written through his prophets and followers.
i don't know where you get your information from, but its wrong. and you know it. don't you feel an emptiness inside of you? that's the emptiness only God can fill.
Jesus is OUR Lord and savior.
Christianity cannot have started the night Jesus was born, because he didn't start teaching the principles and stories that become the bible until he is a full-grown man. No one lived a Christian's life until near the end of Jesus' life and afterwards. The AD years actually begin sometime in the adult-Jesus' life.
And no, I don't feel an emptiness. Sorry.
well i appreciate your point of view and i appreciate you not getting mad. i am just doing my duty as a Christian.
