Okay:
Pink Slime is made from the leftover bits of meat from carving beef, the bits near the guts, and the other UNEDIBLE pieces. These bits of meat usually go to dog food, because dogs have better stomachs than us, and can digest these things. What meat producers do is buy those bits CHEAP, separate them from the fat, and THEN THEY WASH THE MEAT IN AMMONIA which can KILL YOU, grind it like normal meat, and add it to good meat.

When you go to McDonald's, or Burger King, or Taco Bell, or Wendy's, or other fast food places, and you get a burger, what is their ad? They say that it's 100% beef. THE REGULATIONS SAY THAT YOU CAN HAVE UP TO 60% PINK SLIME IN BEEF PRODUCTS AND SAY IT IS 100% Which means that you aren't getting even HALF good meat. The rest is filler that can KILL YOU. This alone could be the reason America has problems with autism, and other learning problems. Change America and our food regulations now!
kittylovaa: 04-14-2012 at 2:27 PMYes, I do. But I am a vegetarian, so it doesn't really effect me. But my family and friends are meat-eaters, so I worry for them and their health. This is a serious issue and it needs to be taken care of by the USDA, and immediately.
