The Curse: Chapter 7

"Why,why,why,why,why,why,why,why",Duke asked over and over again,tears spilling out of his eyes. "Why,Christina,and Kris,they were...so.....",he started but burst out in tears again. "Duke...,it's alright",Stella said walking over and putting a hand on his shoulder. "How do you know??".he sniffed. "Duke,calm down",Storm said trying to sound calm himself. "HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO BE CALM?????",Duke screamed in his face."DUKE,PLEASE",Storm pleaded. "The funeral,will be much easier,if you're calm,and not blubbering the whole time" "Storm...just leave him alone",Mel said.
"Ok",Storm said and with that the friends parted and went home,no one thinking anything bad would happen,at the funeral.

-one week later-

"Christina was an amazing friend to many of us in this small town,she will greatly missed by all",Lucy Kettchen said putting the papers down,and walking off the stage. "Why,why'd she have to die?",she asked Duke,as she passed him walking back to her seat. Duke just looked at her and shrugged,before going up on the stage himself. "Hi",he said looking over into the crowd of over 1,000 people gathered in the local church. "Christina....was amazing",he started
"A beloved friend...daughter....niece.....granddaughter....and in my case girlfriend,she was always so happy,and cheerful,in fact she was the captin of the cheerleading team,I remember the first day we met,she came up to me,and said "take me to the next dance?",she was so beautiful in her Green and White cheer uniform,so I said yes...and that was the day we started going out...I'll never forget the day she said she loved me,it was at the Valentines Day Dance,"
Suddenly his bottom lip started to quiver. "Good Bye Christina,you'll be greatly missed,Rest In Peace..." Then suddenly the lights started flickering,and then with a flash,it was pitch black....
