The Unfortunate Day my Dreams Came True (Part 1) Percy Jackson
Don't read this if you are thinking of reading the Percy Jackson books. It's a HUGE spoiler:)
This all happened the day my friends and I went for a walk the day before 6th grade.
We went into the woods behind my house. We were just talking, you know, about stuff.
"If adultery is a sin how do we have kids?" I asked.
"Why?" Victoria asked looking at me with disgust.
"Well, it's just been on my mind for a while. Because, you know, my life plan"
"Marry Brad Kavanagh, first child be a boy named Fabian that looks exacally like him"
"Wow. Thats almost exacally how I would say it"
"Well, you talk about it so much we pretty much memorized it" Lexy said.
Madi made a little giggle and started singing in Japanese.
We walked in silence for a while just listening to Madi's beautiful voice and trying to figure out what the heck those words mean.
"Madi, how did you learn that?" Michaela asked.
"I listened to the song alot"
"What does the words mean?" I asked. As usual I wanted to know more than I needed to.
"Hayley, I have no idea" And we all laughed.
We walked a little farther and I laughed.
"What?" Patricia asked.
"Oh, I just remembered the part in Percy Jackson when they were at a damm and they started talking about the damm foodcourt and the damm bathrooms" I laughed again.
"Why are you so obsessed with Percy Jackson?" Lexy asked.
"Why? Is there a problem?" I joked.
"I think you should be obsessed with Naruto" Madi said with a smirk.
"Actually I just finished episode 23" I said pulling out a folded up peice of paper from my pocket. "And a drew this picture od Sasuke" I handed it to Madi and we all stopped as she unfolded it.
We all gathered around behind her trying to look at it.
"Wow Hayley!" Madi exclamed. "This is amazing! You even got his intense look right. and that spike of his hair. Wait, this picture looks familiar"
"Well, yeah. I used a photo from online as my model" I said.
"It is really good" Lexy stated and everyone agreed.
"I'm not that good" I said looking at his uneven eyes.
"What are you talking about?" Patricia asked. "Compared to mine this should be in a museum"
"Thanks" I beemed.
Madi handed it back to me and I refolded it and stuffed it in my shorts pocket.
"Hello"
I looked up to see a women looking over at us.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"It doesn't matter who I am but what I am here for" She said. "I am here to grant one of you a wish"
"A wish?" Patricia asked puzzled.
"Not just any wish. The deepest wish you have. One you may not even know you have"
"And only one of us gets it granted" I said just seeing if i understood. The lady nodded.
"Well, who gets it?" Madi asked.
"I have already chosen" She said reaching out her hand to me. I backed up but Patricia pushed me forward.
The lady place her blood red nail on my forehead. She looked me right in the eyes. I could see fire in them and then I felt pain. Lots of pain in my forehead. I screamed and felt something warm and wet fall down my face.
She removed her finger but I could still feel the blood dripping down.
"Remember" The lady said backing away. "You cannot go on with your dream till he learns to love you"
"Wait!" I screamed. "Who? I haven't even told you my dream!" But she dissapeared.
The pain got worse and worse and I yelled out. My friends surrounded me trying to help but I fell onto my knees and then fell face first into the dirt. Michaela turned me over and the last thing I saw was Madi dialing a number on her phone and the worried faces of my friends before everything went black.
