Chapter 1
Prologue.
This story takes place in average town, filled with stereotypical, average people. But, what happens in this average town, filled with stereotypical, average people is not average, no not very average at all. Well, not average for this town at least. Let’s start at the beginning shall we? Well, you have no say in that since you’re the reader, and I’m the author.
The story starts out with a, little more-than average, young man, August Jacobson. He’s just about 5'7", brown hair, blue eyes, fair skin, a brilliant smile, and 23 years old. He’s a student teacher who goes to work in an average high school in the average town, filled with stereotypical, average people. He gets a job with Mr. Tuner, a tall, slim, middle aged man. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and fair skin, too. Mr. Turner was an average man, with average looks, an average job, and average marriage. And that’s all you need to know, for it’s not that important to the story. August was to be helping out with 2 periods a day, everyday a week. Block 2, and block 5. Both classes filled with average, annoying teenagers. Well, almost in Mr. Turner’s Block 5 class there was Alice Reynolds. She also had fair skin, brown eyes and brown, wavy hair that and sleek, black, rimmed glasses. She was a was more mature than her classmates, which left her with very little people to talk to. She was an A/B student and just wanted to get out of this average town filled with stereotypical, cliche, average people. You could always find her with ear buds in her ear, and a head buried in a book. She’s 17 years old, head strong, sarcastic, witty, and very smart. Ever since she was 14 years old she spoke with a vocabulary that many her age didn’t use, or understand. She loves to write poetry, stories and anything under the sun. And, unlike all the other girls in her class, she didn’t swoon over the new Student teacher, August. She just keeps to herself, and that fascinates August. Slowly, he'll break down her walls and teach her how to trust, how to love. And she'll teach him a few things along the way. Is age really just a number when it comes to love?
