Somebody to love (Justin Bieber love story)
Skye has a new neighbor, too bad it's the guy she hates...
Chapter 1
Hello, Old Friend
"Skye, we have a new neighbor!" My mother yelled. I pressed pause on the movie I was watching, Juno, and looked up at her. "Mom, I'm watching my favorite movie right now." She rolled her eyes. "You've seen that movie too many times, we need to greet our new neighbors!" I sighed but got off the couch anyway.
My mom and I stepped outside. Wow, I thought, I haven't been outside in a while, the sun hurts. I looked to my right at the family hauling boxes from a truck. She seemed nice, a short lady. No daughter, though. I guess I wans't getting a new friend any time soon.
"Mom, I've got that, don't worry." A voice cried out. I covered the sun with my hands and tried to see who said that. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe she did have a daughter. Hopefully my age, too. I waited until I saw a body come from inside the house. I recongized that hair. I would anywhere. I gasped. No, it couldn't be.
Justin.
"No, mom! No! Not Justin, anyone but him!" I cried to my mom in horror. She patted my head. "Sweetheart, when are you finally going to move on? You two broke up a year ago, and it was over a stupid thing, it's time to let go." I crossed my arms defensively. "I have let go, I don't want to see him." She rolled her eyes. "Okay, sweetie, whatever you say." She didn't sound like she believed me. I turned on my heel and went back inside.
I pressed play on the movie and tried to watch it. I grunted at the sound of my mom talking to our new neighbors. How could she be friends with that..that...monster!? He was a two-timing little cheater! I hated him!! I turned off the movie and just sat in the quiet. Why did I care if my mom talked to him? I was over him. I didn't want anything to do with him. Anything. Suddenly, the door bell rang. I got up off the couch and went to the door. Why would my mom ring the door bell? I opened it and of course saw him.
"What do you want?" I asked. He flipped his hair. I felt my heart pump faster. He knows I always got nervous when he did that. But I didn't let it show. "How are you, Skye?" He asked. I folded my arms. "Fine." He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Aren't you gonna ask how I'm doing?" I rolled my eyes. "Why should I?" I replied. He smirked. "Same old Skye." I scowled. "No, I'm not the same Skye who was stupid enough to fall for someone like you." I snapped. He continued smirking. "Skye don't say that," He said calmly, "what makes you think you're special enough to be stupid?"
"You're an a**."
I said as I shut the door. His foot blocked it from closing. "Skye, wait." He said dropping his smirk. I looked into his eyes. "I missed you." He removed his foot from the door and let it shut. I turned around and put my back against the door. My heart was now beating triple as fast. I shook my head and headed for my room. No, I wasn't falling that easy for him again. Justin, you're about to lose in your own game.
