Chapter 1
Ch.1 The begging and the ending.
Bethonia lay on her bed, missing every second she spent with her sister’s empty bed next to hers. It was three weeks since she was sent to hospital, leaving poor Bethonia to cry every time she passed a place where her sister would usually go. She belonged to a rich family that always had favourites, including favourite game, favourite table, favourite computer or laptop and everything else they ever had. But she was not lucky enough to be a favourite. She spent every night crying over how her sister got a dress made out of 50 dollar notes and all she got was a red frilly dress with a blue ribbon on the back of it. The dress cost about 15 dollars, which was all her parents would ever spend on her. Her sister was spoiled, angry and was a bit creepy. But Bethonia missed her anyway. Her sister’s name was Amber. Amber was the only one that would listen to Bethonia and the only one who would care about what she said, but she has one creepy part of her that practices dark magic. Bethonia closed her eyes and slipped slowly into her own dreams. That night she dreamt of Amber
“I call upon the dark moon and bright sun, deposit your power to me.” Amber chanted by the biggest oak tree at dawn break. ”As the darkness swirls in the biggest oak, I would hold out my hand.” Amber held her hand out and immediately it shined bright pink, then amber. A wolf made of black clouds came out of the forest. Amber stared at it, not afraid, but curious. “The deep forest wolf, help me, I need your power.” The wolf stared at Amber with its bright red eyes.
“You expect me to give my powers to a mere little girl!?!?” The wolf burst into laughter.
“Never mind. I can just beat the power out of you.” Amber smirked. “Dainluestules, Ambreinalde ana milyuta!!” She shouted. A great gust of wind came and swept a bunch of sand up from the ground. She caught some in her hand and it suddenly turned into a ruby dagger.
“BETH!!! GET DRESSED!!!” Bethonia’s mother’s voice awoke her from her day-dream.
“Muuuuumm!!” Bethonia called back to her mother
“Don’t muuuum me!”
“You woke me up in the really good part!!”
“Oh no, it’s the end of the whole world.”
“Ugh.”
“GET UP!!!!!!!!!” Bethonia’s mum, also known as Rena ran into Bethonia’s room, threw off her covers, grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her into the shower with her P.Js’ on. Bethonia screamed.
“MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!.” Usually Rena would scream back and threaten to give her mouse, Candy away. Today she just turned around and absent-mindedly walked away. Her dad came into the bathroom and Bethonia got out of the shower.
“GET IN, YOU!!!” Bethonia’s dad, also called Marvin, wasn’t much better than Rena. “SHUT UP AND GET YOUR BIG HEAD INTO THE SHOWER!!” He grabbed Bethonia, pushed her in the shower, turned it on, got out and locked the bathroom door. After the shower Marin unlocked the door and Bethonia got dressed in her red dress with the blue ribbon. Marvin snarled at Bethonia and yelled “In the car!!”
“OK, OK fine!!” Bethonia yelled back. She stepped into the pink, shiny limousine and sat in the front seat. Marvin scowled.
“BACK seat.” Bethonia rolled her eyes and sat in the back seat without emotion.
Marvin mumbled things underneath his breath that sounded suspiciously like “That little…..” and “Why I otta….” As he drove and drove and drove and drove until Bethonia felt like she would be carsick.
“When are we gonna ge-“ Bethonia started
“Shut up.” Marvin said quickly and continued to drive.

The nurse looked at Amber suspiciously.
“Who?” He asked.
“Daria, the great black demon. The most powerful and blood thirsty, I will do anything for her.” Amber leaned in and whispered in her nurse’s ear. “I could kill you easily if she asked it of me.” The nurse looked shocked at Amber and stood up, obviously disturbed. He walked away swiftly and rung Rena to tell her not to let her daughter EVER go to the oak tree again. Amber just sat down on her bed with her magic book. She muttered something to herself. In no time Amber was holding another ruby dagger. The nurse turned around and suddenly gave out a loud scream. There was blood everywhere. Amber just sat on the bed, trying to look as innocent as possible but couldn’t resist smirking at the still half alive nurse on the floor. “She asked it of me.” Amber half giggled. “I hate to say I told you so.” Amber did giggle this time. “But I did.”
The door opened. Amber looked up. It was Rena. She was stiff with tears.
“I’m gonna have to send you to boarding school.” Rena sobbed. Amber looked at her as if she was crazy.
“Well screw that idea.” Amber got up and jumped out the window. She waved and ran away so fast that grass around her was pulled straight out of the ground.
“Does she always have to do that every time I propose a school?” Rena thought out loud. Amber was standing next to her.
“Forgot the money you owe me. And my book.” She waited and waited. Rena did not move, she just stood there, petrified. Amber rolled her eyes, took her mums wallet, took 25 dollars out of it, gave it back, got her book and jumped out the window again. She ran to the beach where Bethonia and Marvin where in a boat, on their way to the deep blue sea.
“Why are we going up he-“Bethonia started.
“Shut up.” Marvin ended. They stopped in really deep bit where no-one could possibly get out of. Marvin put his hands over Bethonia’s throat and started to choke her. Bethonia looked innocently at her dad and stumbled backwards. Bethonia fell into the sea and Marvin drove the boat away speedily. Amber stared at the struggling Bethonia. Bethonia was never taught to swim. Her parents wouldn’t let her have swimming lessons. Amber wasn’t happy with this.
“My sister will not parish. Maligaero!!” A big black bubble formed around Bethonia and she was lifted out of the ice cold, sky blue water.
“Huh??” Bethonia stared at the bubble amazed. She reached out to touch the bubble and as she did, she felt a surge of electric energy enter her body. Her eyes turned blood red and her hair grew down to her feet, her hair was now dark brown. The bubble burst and Bethonia thought she was done for, but when her feet touched the icy cold water they stayed. She could walk on water!! Bethonia looked at amber gratefully then looked at her father’s boat speeding away. “I WILL kill him one day. I know I will.”
For the next three days anything and everything life could throw at Bethonia just made her stronger and angrier, but in some ways... calm. She would walk through the nearby forest, to the lake and see her father’s reflection. Bethonia would scream and stare at it, hoping something would just happen to him, something terrible.
“Hey!! You!!” A non-familiar voice called. Bethonia turned around as a tall, skinny boy slammed into her.
“What?!?!?!” Bethonia answered angrily.
“Heh... Sorry…” The boy helped Bethonia up. “Well… I just never saw you before….”
“So you decide to bowl me over?!?!”
“Yea… Err…. Hi.”
Bethonia looked at the boy’s face and suddenly she was blushing like crazy. He was really dreamy. The boy had hazel eyes and midnight black hair.
“Sorry for yelling at you, really sorry.” Bethonia smiled weakly, hands behind her back.
“Not a problem…” The boy smiled, blushing madly. “Well…. I’m Rick… Um… Bethonia, am I mistaken?”
Bethonia’s grin soon turned into an expression of shock. She had never told him his name and never saw him ever in her life.
“Yea… How do you know??” Bethonia replied, her mouth hanging open lifelessly.
“Oh… I…I Have a thing with stuff like that.” Rick smiled happily. Bethonia’s face soon turned into a smile.
“Oh… OK.” She grinned. “And I sort of have a talent with… Um…”
“What?”
“Mind… Stuff…”
“Like brainwashing??”
“No…”
Bethonia beckoned for Rick to follow her. She then caught sight of a small stone next to a tree.
“Like this.” Bethonia started to concentrate. Her eyes stung all over and her legs shook wildly. She visualized weeds, lots of them. Suddenly a big stalk came out of the ground and tossed the stone into the lake.
“Whoa!!!! You’ve gotta teach me that!!” Rick spurted out. “That’s WICKED!!”
“I don’t really think I can.” Bethonia confessed. “It’s… Well… My sister you see…”
Rick moaned as a Brring! Was heard far away.
“That’s the bell.” He whimpered. “Gotta go.”
“I can go with you!” Bethonia suggested. Rick nodded.
“Guess it’s worth a shot.” He answered
Bethonia and Rick slowly walked back to the boarding school that Rick went to. Suddenly Rick burst into laughter.
“What’s so funny??” Asked Bethonia curiously.
“You love me!!! It’s only been like, 5 minutes and you’re already blushing like hell!”
Bethonia slapped Rick and he suddenly stopped laughing.
“So…. Nice weather we’re having… right??” Rick smiled weakly.
*
Amber scowled at the still-living stalk, wondering weather to kill it, or to make it kill.
“Dianlern!” Amber hissed. The stalk fell down onto the ground, shivering. Amber walked up to it and stroked it slowly. “You’ll do much good to me.” She whispered. “My sister’s magic is strong, very strong.”
Wham!! The stalk stood up and aimed a blow at Amber, missing her by about an inch.
“And so are you.” Amber looked dully at the huge dent right next to her rainbow, 5 carrot gold slippers. “Meadaorkal” She yawned. A small, 6 year old girl came out of the forest.
“Amwer?”
“Yea. Help?”
“OK Amwer! Ala Don!”
Another stalk came out of the ground. But instead of throwing a rock, it dissolved, leaving a teenage looking girl with black hair and blazing red eyes.
“Eet this!!” The 6-year old yelled excitedly “Punch ‘er Dawia!!!!”
Daria held her hand over the 6-year old’s mouth and yawned. She held her hand out and the stalk paused, frozen.

‘Three weeks’, Saffi thought helplessly. ‘THREE WEEKS!!’
She through herself on her pillow and sobbed. She missed her old home, in her own planet, in her own life. Not the life of a princess. She had been kidnapped three weeks ago by a bunch of guys from ‘earth’. Now she lived in ‘RedRose Academy’ with about 300 boys. Saffi was the only girl in RedRose academy so the boys always treated her like royalty, even though she hated it.
“I... I want to go home…” Saffi whispered to herself. “I… need to.”
Saffi pulled herself off her bed and looked at herself in the mirror, hoping for some change in her.
Nothing.
She was still her old black-haired, grey-eyed self. Wearing her usual upside-down tiara and her sparkly pink satin robe. No change at all.
“I call upon the dark moon and bright sun, deposit your power to me.” Amber chanted by the biggest oak tree at dawn break. ”As the darkness swirls in the biggest oak, I would hold out my hand.” Amber held her hand out and immediately it shined bright pink, then amber.
