The Unbreakable Vow (Harry Potter Story: Of Love and Vanquish) Part 1

"Albus," Mad-Eye spit. "We can't keep the boy in plain sight." Dumbledore was sitting at the dining room table of the Weasley's house, right across from Moody. "I realize this, Allistar. But Harry needs to be kept somewhere." The wind howled outside of the window, banging on the walls, threatening to burst through them at any given moment. Tension was growing on the members of the Order. Sirius sighed. "The Dark Lord is growing and all we contribute to this is bickering like an old married couple." Lord Voldemort was growing stronger by the second. His numbers were increasing, scarily as well as the number of his followers. Reamus Lupin, dressed in his signature brown suit, stood up, a crazed look in his eyes. Sirius froze. Outside of the towering house was the sky, blanketed with its black cover. The stars were hiding, quivering against the moon's beams of light that illuminated the sky. The moon was full. Lupin began to pant. He was sweating, the liquid was dripping down his face. "GET HIM OUTSIDE," yelled Severus, nearby. Sirius and Snape pushed him outside of the door, the first and last time they would work together, "Reamus," Sirius cooed. "This heart. This heart is where you truly live.Right here!" Sirius pointed to Lupin's chest. The transformation was incredible. Sharp black claws erupted like large black stones from his hands. But these were no longer hands but rather paws. Big hairy paws that were as large as a grown Wizard's face. Harry burst from his room, racing downstairs. Hermione and Ron shadowed closely behind. "Sirius," Molly warned. "This is not your fight," Sirius was thrown aside and hit the rocks not far below him. "Sirius," Ginny yelled. Throwing herself in the werewolf's path, she raced to Sirius' side. Carefully, she helped him to his feet. Then, a laugh, A piercing, evil, taunting laugh. Bellatrix arrived, emerging from the tall grasses. "I could call him you know," she threatened, acknowledging the dark mark that ran up her left arm. Greyback chuckled from the distance. "AAAAAHHHoooooooo" could be heard from the vast unknown. Consequently, Lupin responded. He scampered off. Harry observed as he departed with a blank expression on his face. Bellatrix gasped. "HOW DARE YOU?!" she screamed. She approached Severus. "YOU ARE WITH THEM." Snape remained unchanged. He did not respond, his lips forming a straight line. "You shall pay, Severus. I will tell the Dark Lord." Then, the unexpected happened. Snape SMILED! "No, you won't." For once, Bellatrix looked......scared. "CRUCIO!" A red beam of light erupted from Snape's wand. It flew through the air and hit a rat that had fallen to the ground. "YOU LITTLE....." Sirius looked shocked. Everyone did but the children. "What," Harry asked confused. Severus took out a small, aluminum bowl from under his robes. He placed the rat inside of it and muttered a spell that few could recognize. "Severus are you sure you want to do th-" Snape shot Dumbledore a glared look. Albus nodded. They had agreed upon something. A young witch punched down the door of the Weasley's home. She was sobbing. Moody ran to meet her. "Sapphire," "what has happened?" "He's-he's....he's dead." Moody and Sirius eyes met. "Who, Sapphire?" "His name is....." (TO BE CONTINUED)
