Chapter 1
A New School, A New Life
"Welcome to Atlanta!"
"Thanks," I muttered. So far, I didn't like Atlanta. It was hot, it was crowded, everyone had a slight southern accent, there was nothing pretty like in Chicago. I'd lived all 15 years of my life in Chicago. Never even left Illinois. Suddenly, Mom got a job in Atlanta. ATL. Hotlanta. Yeah. I was enrolled in Charter High School. My first day was tomorrow.
Tomorrow. School. 8:16
My english teacher was Mrs. Green. "Everyone, we have a new student joining us today! Please welcome Ms. Joanna Keller." I smiled. The whole class turned and looked at me. My smile became awkward. The guy in front of me turned around. "Hi," he said.
"Hi!" I could get really flirty around guys. "I'm Joanna, as you probably just heard. I'm from Chicago. What's your name?"
"Teddy. Nice to meet you." He turned back around. Did I come on too strong? Teddy was cute, with sandy blond hair, freckles, and blue eyes. He was on the shorter side (maybe an inch taller than me) and wore a letter jacket.
Well, one thing I like about Atlanta is the guys. They're all friendlier here. And cuter. Hey, it's track season. I think I'll try out. I did track at my old school and ran distance. I wasn't too fast, but hey, I need to make new friends and get exercise.
Next class. Spanish. I've always been good at Spanish, hopefully I'll do well here. Suddenly, I ran into someone. Great, it's a dude. "Sorry!" I said. "Uh, yeah," he muttered. I helped him pick up his books. "Thanks," he said. Then I looked into his eyes. Man, he had some weird eyes. They were large and brown and sparkly. He wasn't cute like Teddy. More...sexy, tall, and cool. He also wore a letter jacket though.
My house 4:12
That was a pretty good day! I met a few girls, a few guys (wink wink) and the classes seem pretty easy. I took out my phone. 2 New Messages. The first one was my brother. I clicked on the second. "Joanna will die. Joanna will die in several days. Goodbye Joanna Keller."
My heart stopped.

Interesting, and no I am not just saying that. It kind of reminds me a litttle bit of Pretty Little Liars. how do you have the time to jump from all your wonderful stories, where I have it hard to work on an essay and my glee story at the same time. Always keep writing and who knows where it can bring you.
Thanks! I've actually never read/seen Pretty Little Liars.
Oh it is a great book seriesand tv where four friends experience a death of a friend who disappeared for three years(1 year in the tv series) . After her funeral, their lives are being tormented by someone named A. It is a mystery. It is really good.
Hard at work on my Bad Romance story. It is kind of hard since I am trying to two make it my own and have some elements from the series itself. Two new chapter in one day. Now I am working on Chapter 6. Writing is addictive isn't it.
