When i put on my clothes I went downstairs and found my mum making breakfast. "Morning mum." I said. "Morning Rose. Can you do me a favor and wake up the boys?" Mum asked me. "Sure mum, wheres dad?" I asked her. "Oh he's still asleep could you wake him up to?" She asked. "Sure mom no problem." I said. I went up the stairs and headed for my parents' room. "Dad wake up" I said. No movement. "Dad wake up!!" I shouted. Still no movement. "Dad mum's making breakfast! And it smells good!" I said. He was still asleep. Usually that got him out of bed. Hmm what can I do I thought. Oh I know I thought. I went back to the kitchen and got a pot. "What are you doing with that Rose?" Mum questioned me. "Oh nothing." I said innocently. "Rose" Mum said in a stern voice. "What are you doing with that pot?" "Ok fine you caught me. I'm going to fill it with water." I said. "Why? What are you going to do with it?" Mum asked. "Oh just drop it on dad to wake him up" I said nonchalantly. "Well, ok then go on and wake him up." Mum said. YES!! "Ok thanks mum" I said. I walked back up the stairs and into the bathroom. I filled the pot with freezing cold water and headed over to my parents room. I walked up to my dad, said "Good Morning", and dumped the water on his head. He shot right up. "ROSE WEASLEY!!" he shouted. "Yes dad?" I said. "Why did you pour cold water on me?!" He asked. "Because you wouldn't wake up" I said innocently. "Now if you'll excuse me I need to wake up the boys. By the way dad breakfast is ready" I then walked over to Scorp's room. "Scorp, Hugo time to wake up." I said. "Five more minutes." They said. "Ok I'll guess you'll just miss breakfast. By the way mum's making bacon." I said. They yelled "BACON!" "Well come on guys I'm hungry to" I said. We went downstairs and sat in our chairs. Mum had made pancakes, eggs, chocolate chip pancakes, and bacon. "So anything plans today kids?" Dad asked. "Jen's coming over today. We're gonna go walk around." I said. "Scorpius and I are going over to hang out with James and Albus." Hugo said. "That's nice. Rose can you put the plates in the sink? Hugo can you put the remaining food in plastic containers in the refigerator? Scorpius can you wipe down the table?" Mum asked us. "Sure" we all said. When we were done Hugo and Scorp got dressed. We were all talking and goofing off when the doorbell rang. "I got it!" I shouted. I opened it and there stood Jen. "Hey Jen hows it goin?" I said "Good." She said. "Mum Jens here! We're going to walk around be back before lunch!" I shouted. "Got it be careful." Mum shouted back. "Hey Hugo. Hey Scorp. Bye Hugo. Bye Scorp." Jen said. "Hey and bye to you too!" They said. "Bye Scorp. Bye Lilttle brother." I said. "Bye Rose." They said. "C'mon Jen" I said. We left and started walking. (J is Jen, R is Rose)
J: "So how was your Christmas?"
R: "Oh my gosh you don't know the half of it. The morning was great. At dinner it all went down hill"
J: "Why dinner? What happened"
I started telling all about what happened. I told her what presents I got. About out epic snowball fight. And about Scorpius' father. I only paused a couple times. Jen would go "No way", "What", "Nice", "Awesome",
"Are you serious?", "Oh my gosh", or "Your kidding right?".
J: "Oh my gosh thats horrible."
R: "Yeah I know I felt so bad for Scorp."
J: "Draco Malfoy is seriously messed up."
R: "Yeah I know right. I felt so bad for Scorp."
J: "Yeah I know you did, especially how you comforted him."
R: "What? You would have done the same thing."
J: "Sure I would have. But I think you did it because of something else too."
R: "What are you thinking?"
J: "You like him Rose. Admit it you like him."
R: "I do not like him. We are friends. That's it"
J: "Your just to stubborn to notice it. Your not looking into you heart. You don't want to like him because you think it will ruin your friendship"
R: "I do not like him." Do I?
J: " Yes you do Rose. Rose I know you better than anyone you like him. I can see it when you look at him. I might have been friendship at first, but it's not anymore."
R: "Alright you caught me. I don't think of him just as a friend. I'm confused. I don't want to think of him as more than a friend but I still do. I don't want our friendship to end."
J: "Rose he likes you to. I can see it."
R: "I don't want this to ruin our friendship. I just don't"
J: "What if he likes you to?"
R: "I don't think he likes me in that way."
J: " He does. He likes you."
R: "Jen I'm the only person he has left. His dad's an idiot, he doesn't love him, he even hits him."
J: "That is exactly why he likes you."
R: "He doesn't like me! We are just friends! I'm sorry but that's it. I'm sorry I yelled at you."
J: "It's fine. But Rose can't you see this. It's exactly like you mum and dad's relationship. They were friends and wouldn't tell each other. Your mum had to go through a lot in her Sixth year. They didn't kow the other liked them. Only because they were to scared to tell. When they thought they were going to die they showed each other how they felt. Do you really want to end up like that? When one of you is in grave danger for your feelings to come out?" tbc
