The boy who knew

Before we get into the story I would like to tell you my name. Hi I'm Matt. Now to get on with the story. I was 12 years old when my mom died of cancer to her lungs. She was inside my tree fort helping me organize all my action figures when she fell over hit her head on the tree limb. (I know this sounds like she died that way but just bare with me.) I called down to my dad mowing the lawn. "Dad! DADD!!" He couldn't hear me over the lawn mower. "DADD!!!!!" I shouted and shouted until my voice was hoarse. So I started climbing down the ladder faster than I ever had before. "Dad! Mom..she...hit her head! Call 911!!!" He just stood there stunned, couldn't move couldn't speak. Since he wasn't moving I ran inside and dialed 911. "911 what's your emergency?" "My mom hit her head in my tree fort!" I could barely speak because of the tears running down my sweating face. "Alright what's your name and what number house do you live on?" "312 Ditmars Street, Turniu Oklahoma." "Okay and your name?" "Matt." "Well alright Matt the ambulance is coming and will be there in less than 5 minutes." "O.. Okay." I hung up. I didn't know what else I should do so I ran out into the yard and into the woods and into my tree fort. "Dad is Mom going to be okay?" "Probably Matt, probably." That was the last thing I heard him say. The ambulances lights and sirens so loud it was like they were right behind me. "Dad the ambulance is here!" "Go show them the way Matt." So I bolted down the ladder and into the woods. I got to the house faster then I thought so I ran around the house and showed to ambulance people where my mom was. After we got there they carried her down the ladder and onto a stretcher, and into the ambulance.
