why did you abandon me?

I looked at Leafpool and Squirrelflight. Don't ask me how. It was in some sort of in between dream world. I knew they wanted me to tell them, I forgive you. But no way. No way. I was going to tell the truth, not some lie like the one THEY fed me on for years. I said to them, between clenched teeth, "I hate you. You fed me and my brothers on lies for years. you destroyed our lives. What do I have to thank you for?"
Squirrelflight tried to defend her sister. "I raised you. She gave BIRTH to you. And you ask us what you have to thank us for? We made some mistakes, granted, but I loved you and raised you like my own. Now you hate me. What else could I have done?"
Hollyleaf considered the question. She finally said, "You could have told the Clan. Leafpool could have gone into the nursery like a normal queen. She could have raised us."
Leafpool almost sobbed, "You think I don't know that?"
I looked her up and down. "Why?"
Leafpool looked puzzled as tears dripped down her face. "Why what?"
My voice was cold. "Why did you abandon us?"
Leafpool looked at me. Squirrelflight spoke. "I didn't abandon you!!!"
I said, "no. YOU didn't. she did. You just helped her do it and TRAMPLED MY LIFE INTO SPLINTERS. THAT WAS ALL YOU DID!" I shouted, my rage rising.
Leafpool looked at you. "Wait."
"Wait? I'm not a twoleg dog you mouse-brain!"
Leafpool and Squirrelflight said, "We love you." Leafpool continued on her own, "I am more proud of you than any mother ever has been."
Now my voice was bitter with the strain of trying not to cry. "WHY!" My anger rose. "WHY?! I KILLED ASHFUR! I REVEALED YOUR SECRET TO EVERYONE AT THE GATHERING! I RUINED YOUR LIFE JUST LIKE YOU RUINED MINE! WHY DON'T YOU HAAATE ME???"
Leafpool said, "My life has been hard for so long that I have grown used to betrayal. You, my precious kit, should have been raised with the truth. It was all you ever wanted. The truth of right and wrong. But think, Hollyleaf. If I raised you in the nursery then who would have been medicine cat of ThunderClan?"
I was sobbing now, feeling tears rack my body. "Brightheart knew... herbs. I heard... Sandstorm learned some... once......" it was then I broke down completely. And for once, I realized something as Leafpool and Squirrelflight curled around me. My life might have been the worst life a cat can have, but at least I had a mother. Two of them, in fact.
