Bullied To Death ~Based On A True Story~
This story is inspired by a girl who was bullied because she was 'bigger' than everyone else at her school. One day, some girls at her school thought it would be hilarious to take a picture when she was changing in gym class. They posted this on face book...That night she received over 1'000 messages on face book, twitter and email of people LAUGHING at her. This girl couldn't stand the thought of facing everyone at school and she committed suicide. This story is for anyone who has been bullied.
Chapter 1
The First Day
Author's note
At my school lately there has been alot of bullying going on...My principle then talked to us about it and he told us about this girl. She's older than me, in grade 11, and I couldn't believe that someone who lives about an hour away from me could have something so horrible, mean, nasty and down right wrong happen to her. I have heard of kids who have been bullied to death but it didn't feel like it fit into my world. That was until I heard about this girls story. I felt so much empathy for this girl that I want to write a story dedicated to her and anyone else who had or is being bullied. I hope that this makes at least one person want to take an action to stop bullying.
P.s, none of the names are real.
~Sally
When I first started high school with my best friends, I was excited as every other teenage girl. I thought maybe, just maybe, people will treat me like a normal human being.
I hoped that even though I'm larger than most kids my age I would be accepted, loved, cared about.
God was I ever wrong.
I recalled the first day of high school as I laid on my bed, trying to figure things out.
"Sophia!" Someone yelled from behind me and I turned around to see Annie, my best friend since grade 3 running at me at a full sprint.
I laughed and braced myself for her tight hug. She jumped on me, and I swung her around like I used to.
"We have so much to catch up on!" Annie squealed, her two blond braids swinging as she bounced up and down in excitement.
I nodded, not as enthusiastic as her. The truth was I was worried about starting at a new school, considering the last three years of my life had been pure torture.
"Oh cheer up Sophia. Please, we are starting HIGH SCHOOL! Whooot!" Annie yelled and a few people turned and stared at her, others joined in on her hooting.
"I'll try for you...but I don't know if I'll fit in...You know what happened in middle school." I replied, not wanting to bring the subject up but I did want my point to get across her mind.
It worked. Instantly Annie sobered. "I know but you can have a fresh start now. Make a new name for yourself."
I looked at her in disbelief. Then I choked out the words "I'll try."

Awwwwww. ='( Bullying is so sad... 'Why?' I ask always ask myself 'Why would someone want to do something like that?'
i dont really like how your writind it from her point of veiw. it just feels like your putting word in her mouth and thoughts in her head that your not really sure are true. it doesnt feel authentice. but this sounds like its going to turn out to be a really good story tho! i cant wait to read more!
If you read what I said in the author's note, you would know that I'm writing this story for anyone who has been bullied. I've been this girl. I know how freaking horrible middle school and high school can be. If you don't like how I'm writing it please don't read my story. I don't want to sound rude but this story means alot to me. I'm writing this story from my perspective as a friend, a victim of bullying and as a survivor of bullying.
It doesn't sound like she's just putting words into her mouth. This story is BECAUSE of that girl.
Sad
