Magic? Or Muggle? (HPLS!)

I was curled up in a ball under my zebra blanket. I peeked out the window and seen the sun shining down. I then heard a quick rapping knock on my door. I groaned and slowly got up.
"Whatt?" I yelled.
"Come here" My mum, Teresa, said. I rolled my eyes and wondered What did I do now I walked slowly out the door slumped over and fell on the nearest recliner.
"You got mail" My mum said in a sing song voice.
Me get mail? Is it my birthdayy? I thought. I grabbed the fancy envelope with the red sticker keeping it closed and a letter H on it. I opened it slowly looking at my mum concerned. Her smile was ear to ear and my fathers face was up in a smirk. I opened the piece of paper to see this...

"Is this a joke?" I asked. My mums ear smile fell to a frown.
"Why would it be a joke, aren't you excited?!"
"Excited for what? Magic, you never use it so I'm obviously getting the Wrong letter"
"We didn't use it when you were around! We waited eleven years so you'd be happy and excited. Darling I really think you should believe us. It will be soo much fun!" She squealed the whole sentence.
"Welll if you say so I suppose it is exciting" My mum was nodding ferociously.
I bit my lip and nodded.
"So we'll send this letter back telling them you will be going!" She said a little more normally.
"Uh yeah for sure." I said smiling it was starting to hit me now. "So you guys are wizards and witches?" My mum and dad looked at each other and smiled.
"Yes we are both purebloods, so that means you are too!"
"Is that good?"
"It's tremendously good!" My father said, "You should have no trouble getting along with the slytherins" He chuckled
"Slytherins?"
"Why yes they're the most fabulous house, we were both in that house" She said happily.
"Well what are they known for?" I asked curious, I sat straight up and listened contently.
"The Slytherins are known for their Smarts and cunning and resourceful! Now the Ravenclaw they have knowledge beyond their wits they're constantly learning! The Gryffindor are the bravest of them all, they are loyal and friendly, unless you're a Slytherin. And now the Hufflepuff they're for all the rest." My face was contorted with thinking I wanted to be in Gryffindor they sounded so much better than the rest of them.
"How do you like the choices?" My father asked.
"They are definitely interesting." I said slowly nodding my head.
"have anyone in mind yet?" My mum asked.
"Well I was kind of thinking of Gryffindor" I replied. My mum and dad both nodded.
"That is quite a respectful house" He said blowing out his pipe. I smiled at his approval and went to the kitchen to get some cereal.
"So were planning on going shopping really soon!"
"Okay" I said making my cereal. I ate my food and went back to my room. I wanted to text all my friends and tell them, but something told me that I would be the only one of my friends to get the acceptance letter. I was only eleven. I really had nothing to do so I went back to sleep...
