DIGITOUR 2011: The First Time I Met StarKid:)

The StarKids there were: Joey Richter, Joe Walker, Dylan Saunders, AJ Holmes, Brian Holden, Jaime Lyn Beatty, Lauren Lopez, and Meredith Stepien.

While on line waiting to go into the Granada, I stood with my best friend, Serena, and my mother. We were waiting, quoting random parts of their musicals when, suddenly, Serena said:
"Hey, is that Joey Richter?"
I whipped my head in that direction and gawked. Indeed it was! AND AJ Holmes! We watched them cross the street to AJ's car where Joey was changing.
I couldn't believe it! AJ was looking RIGHT AT ME!
"Wave!" My mom said. I was too starstruck to process what she was saying, but AJ waved at me. I smiled goofily and waved back. He nudged Joey and he did the same. My face turned twenty shades of red and it was NOT because I was wearing jeans in 80 degree weather.
We got to the very front, and I spotted Joe Walker crossing the street. I started freaking out. JOE WALKER WAS TEN FEET AWAY!!!!!!! He had his back to me, and I was about to enter the building, so I never DID say anything, but I absolutely ADORED his DC comics shirt! :)
We waited for the show to start, our anxiousness rising, waiting for our beloved StarKids to enter the stage. We waited, then we heard, somewhere from the back, "Darren! The stage is this way!"
Serena and I looked at each other incredusouly. Darren Criss?! He was in London for Red Eye, a charity concert Glee had him do. We looked around anxiously, but we didn't see him.
"He said DEREK! Not Darren! DerEK! Not DarrEN!" A girl behind us yelled. I realized then that the host's name was Derek.
"Damn..." I whispered under my breath. I had a whole scenario of what the StarKids would do if they had been hiding Darren. Holdenen would take the mic and say "Sorry, Darren Criss can't be here..." Then Darren would burst in, with guitar, and yell "DID SOMEONE SAY DARREN CRISS?!"
It never happened. :(
After the first act, came NicePeter. He was super cool! He sang this song called "Like it's Quidditch". It was a parody of "Like A G6". It was GREAT!
Dave Days was also one act I enjoyed, already have previously listened to some of his stuff. He brought his cardboard Miley, also known as his girlfriend.
I wasn't too darn impressed with the other acts, but then, the act I was waiting for came onstage: STARKID!!!!
"Here's the act you were waiting for..." Derek paused for those screaming fangirls (me being one of them), then said "STARKID!"
They ran onstage.
"OHMYGODDDDD!!!" I started screaming. I had never screamed THIS loud before!
God, Joey's jaw was even more adorable in person!
AJ looked hot in his leather jacket.
Lauren was GORGEOUS!
Dylan, although pink-faced, looked pretty cute in his plaid shirt.
Walker, with his hat and DC shirt, looked down-right SEXY!
Meredith looked so sweet in her cardigan and dress.
Jaime was, as always, owning the stage, dancing and smiling.
Holdenen, is WAY hotter in person.
I screamed louder.
"He thinks that we're finished..." Joey started singing. If possible, I screamed louder.
"Hey, Serena!" I shouted. "Isn't it ironic that Voldemort will be singing 'Voldemort is Going Down'?"
"Stop and think my friends, what would Harry do for you?!"
"I LOVE YOU!" I shouted. Oh, God, my fangirl-ness REALLY kicked in. As we finished rocking out to that song, I yelled it again. Then, Walker and Dylan started "Getting Along". Complete with voices. I died.
"You're the one professor that I'd want detention from!"
"Umbridge, you're the handsome wizard I'd want an extension from!"
My mom looked at me. Her expression seemed to say 'What the hell is all of this nonsense?!' I smiled and shrugged, Cedric style, and turned back to the stage.
AJ and Joey stood next to each other and started singing "Listen To Your Heart". Once again, I screamed. AJ's mic, attached to his keyboard, stopped working. He motioned to Joey, while he was singing, to bring the other mic forward, but he didn't understand. Holdenen had to come and help him out.
"Go Holden!" I yelled when he helped AJ. I instantly blushed when a group of girls gave me a weird look. I wanted so badly to say to them, "What? I can't cheer for my idol?!" but I stayed quiet.
Then, Granger Danger.
As everyone was screaming for Lauren, and saying "GRANGER DANGER!", I threw my hands up in a heart and yelled, as loudly as I could:
"I LOVE YOU, JOEY RICHTER!"
And then, he looked RIGHT at me and......
winked at me. I melted a thousand times over.
He winked at me! He WINKED at me! He winked at ME!
I screamed, again, and whipped out my camera to record the song. I jumped around too much in all of the recordings, making them suck. Oh, well...
After that, they did "Kick It Up A Notch", which I had failed at recording. Dylan was spectacular! And when the reprise came, Holdenen ROCKED it.
"Havin' a blast, blowin' sh !t up!" he sang, smiling. I could tell he just KNEW he was torturing me. He was being supermegafoxyawesomehot and not even caring what he did to us fangirls! Oh, StarKid, why?! Why do you do this to us?!
Then, sadly, there last song came up. "We've got these days of summer to remind us of each other..."
I sang along, then got upset when Holdenen announced:
"We're leaving now! Byeee!!!"
I was going to cry. That was NOT enough StarKid time!
"But we'll be back!" I heard Jaime faintly say.
"BACK TO WITCHES AND WIZARDS AND MAGICAL BEASTS! TO GOBLINS AND GHOSTS AND MAGICAL FEASTS! BACK TO SPELLS AND ENCHANTMENTS, POTIONS AND FRIENDS!"
"To GRYFFINDOR!" I yelled with Jaime, Joey, and Dylan.
"Hufflepuff!" AJ, Meredith, and some fangirls screamed.
"Ravenclaw!" Brian, Serena, and more fangirls yelled.
"SLYTHERIN!" Walker, Lauren, and a good half of the concert yelled.
"BACK TO THE PLACE WHERE OUR STORY BEGINS! AT HOGWARTS, HOGWARTS!"
"I'm sorry, what's it's name?" Dylan called.
"HOGWARTS! HOGWARTS!"
"I didn't hear you kids!"
"HOGWARTS! HOGWARTS!"
"Meh-mah-muh-meh-meh-mah!" Walker and Dylan laughed. No one ever did Darren's part for him. I felt bad, but it was funny.
They exited the stage. I sighed as I watched this next band, The Gregory Brothers, they were pretty good, but they took too long. Then, they did they're "Double Rainbow" song. They asked the rest of DigiTour to come back onstage.
"DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL ACROSS THE SKY-Y-Y-Y! SO INTENSE!" Evryone, including StarKid, sang.
The show ended and the acts prepared for pictures with the fans. Holdenen was still onstage, picking up some Mac supplies.
My mom drug me over to the stage and yelled "Brian!"
He turned, smiled at me, and waved. I got yelled at by a DigiTour staff member, because I distracted part of StarKid when I was to meet him in a minute. Holdenen smiled at me apologetically, said "I'll see you soon! Don't worry, you'll get a picture!"
I got in line.
I had a mini-conversation with Brian Holden. My idol had just said he'd see me soon. My heart melted.
Of course, I didn't get to talk to him, since it was a long line and they were only doing a picture, then you had to get out. But, Serena and I got in the picture, and smiled.
Serena stood by Lauren and Holdenen (LUCKY!!!!!!), in front of AJ, and next to me. I stood next to Dylan, Jaime, and Serena, and in front of Joey. I didn't get to compliment Walker's shirt, but I DID compliment the whole group on the phenomenal job they did.
Joey smiled one last smile at me with his crooked jaw.
Lauren complimented my bangs.
Dylan and Jaime smiled their thanks.
AJ and Walker nodded and waved.
Meredith gave a smile sweeter than candy.
And Holdenen smiled and said "Thank you for coming and being our fans. It means the world to us."
