Nixy's Amulet

Finally, my amulet arrives. I am in Alaska's cave, where Mirani told me to meet him. It's 12:00 am. Right now, I'm waiting for Mirani, one of the seven sea lords, to arrive and pass down the Melku amulet from my ancestors. While waiting, I am twirling my shiny chestnut hair on my finger when, suddenly, I see a shadow run behind a rock and a piece of rock fall. "H-h-hello?" I stutter, frightened. I look behind the rock where the shadow went a... BOOM! The cave comes crashing down! I run out of the cave as quickly as I can. I dash down the winding mountain, panting very hard. Finally, I get to the bottom. I look to the top of the mountain, where I once was, and the cave was crushed into, what, a billion pieces? I look up again to see a shilhouette appear. It's Mirani! He jumps down the top of the mountain, landing on his feet, unharmed. Mirani greets me with "Hello, Nixy." He looks at me. "I have brought the amulet" he says with a sort-of glad and sort-of worried look on his face. He pulls a box from behind him. It's made out of white gold and gold-coloured iron embellishments. "Wow,"I gasp, "what a beautiful case!" Mirani replies, "Well, you know, it has been passed down for seventeen centuries and, no matter what it goes through, it remains shiny. Here Nixy", he hands me the box, "your amulet". I take it and open the box. "What a stunning amulet!" I exclaim. Mirani murmers something about not putting it on and being too slow "Ok?"I say while I put on the amulet.
