My (Almost) Love story (True)

OK this happened this year and is a TRUE story, and I just had names changed for security. (Please comment)

Chapter 1

"Crush" at first sight

Ok, so my mom just bought this wood burning fireplace over the winter, so heating bills wouldn't cost as much. Everything is done and the guy who was selling it, Daniel, came over to help install it and stuff. (For the record, Daniel was very country, and he was a bounty hunter, someone who basicly hunts down criminals. He was the type that always has a gun at his side, shoots a bow and arrow, and has camped in 0 degree weather.) Over the course of the day they were setting up, they became friends. (Blah, blah blah.....) About 2 weeks after that, I was coming home from a party and my mom asked if we wanted to stop by her friend's house about 30 mins. up in the mountains. I wasn't sure I wanted to do it, but after she said that Daniel's son, Jason might be there, I was all in. So we took our 60's light blue Beetle and drove up all the way there, and it was a truely breathtaking sight. There were green pastures everywhere, cows, horses, farms, forest, etc. We finally drive in the long driveway to find a barn-like home, with Daniel waiting outside, waiting for our arrival. He shows us inside, and that's where I meet him. Jason had short black hair, light brown freckles dotting across his nose, about 5'4'', blue eyes and a wonderful smile. One problem. Jason was 4 years older than me. We hung out, played with his dog, Daisy, shot some archery, etc. We got together a bunch of times, one time was my Aunt's birthday, and because she lived in the mountains with her husband, we shot some more archery and I was able to shoot a gun. After that it was midnight and Jason and I were outside, and he showed me this potato gun that he figured how to make off of youtube, and one "interesting" (I guess that's what you can call it) part was when he found that he didn't have hairspray to load into it, (which causes the spark created by the rubbing wires to shoot the potato) so he used Axe, and by the end of the night, we were reeking of it. Another time they came over to our house and we had a bonfire, and during that time we were left alone together by the fire. (And honestly, I found out that he thought that I was in high school, although I am still in middle.) The last time I've seen him (so far) was at this Easter party at his house. There was a HUGE bonfire, I met his sis and his sis's boyfriend, we all talked as if we were all old friends (Even though his sis and sis's boyfriend were about 10 years older than me), everything served came off of the BBQ, and at the end of the night we were sitting on the same tree branch together, and it was just me and him, and at my mom and Daniel were inside. We then wheeled the grill to their neighbors house (we borrowed it, and don't worry, the neighbor knew) and just when we are coming back on the long driveway, it begins to rain. We smile, and we soon realise that we left a glass sitting on the table-part of the grill. We run back, Jason grabs the glass, and somehow, it turns into a race as we speed back to the house. And you know what? The glass hit the pocket knife in his pocket, and it shattered into a million pieces. We stop, laugh slightly, and try to get the broken glass up. It's raining harder now, and we just slowly walk back to the house. We walk in, soaked, and watch re-runs of the Three Stooges. My mom and I finally leave at about 1:00 am., and that was the last time I saw Jason (so far). About a month later (right now) I haven't seen him since, and things are "iffy" between Daniel and my mom, and my mom is trying to get him to talk to her, and with this going on, there's no getting to see Jason. I can only hope that later, I will be able to see Jason again.
