Your heart is cold
Your bones are weak
Your words always hurt
They peck at my heart like a beak

You went too far
Your words far too cruel
Feeding the firelike hate
Like an undying fuel

Shadows of the past
Come back in the end

Leaving me with no way to fend

My arms tell a story
The scars big and small

These words from deep, dark hate

What scared me the most
Was the monster underneath
