Love or Lust? (A Damon Salvator LOVE Story)

I am moving. I am moving. I am moving. Thats all i thought about as i silently pack my clothes. My mom was downstairs packing the kitchen. I cant believe i am moving from my home. Away from my friends. Away from my home. Away from my childhood. I live in Savannah, Georgia. A little town near the coast. I love the salty smell and little town feel. This place is my home. A another silent tear trailed down my cheek. I wiped it away. I zipped my suitcase closed and laid on my bed. Thinking about my home.
-11 hours LATER-
Someone was shaking me. I guess trying to wake me up. I opened my eyes to find my mother in a simple t-shirt and washed out jeans. She smiled.
"Honey it is time to leave." She whispered.
I nodded. And retrieved my suitcases and bags. My mom walked out, me following after. Looking once over my shoulder. We walked downstairs in no rush. And pushed my 5 suitcases and 2 luggage bags and 12 boxes into my new car. I turned to face my house. Smiled and silently said goodbye. Another tear escaped. I wiped it away fast. As i picked up my purse and went to the drivers side. I drove for about 12 hours following my mom. I finally reached our new house. Pulled into the driveway. My mom already there with the delivery trucks. They were already unpacking.
"Hey Em. Go pick your room. And start unpacking. I have a surprise for you." My mom said.
"Okay." I had no interest for that surprise. All i wanted was to go back to Savannah. At least we arent in a city. Mystic Falls doesnt look to bad. I thought as i hurriedly unpacked in my room; that was on the 2nd floor east back room near the bathroom. After about 2 1/2 hours of unpacking i was finally done with my clothes. Thank god my mom ordered the delivery boys to bring my furniture to my room first. I put my make-up and toiletries and towels in my bathroom. I walked downstairs to find my mom on the couch. Waiting for me.
"Hi, mom. Whatcha doing?" I said alittle creeped out. She was smiling kinda creepy.
"Oh just playing with your new...PUPPY!!!!!" My mother yelled. As she held up a adorable little brown German Shepherd that was about 2 weeks old. It had amazing grey-blue eyes. I smiled and ran to the puppy. It yawned in my hands as i hugged it to my chest. I thanked my mom and gave her a hug. I brought my new puppy. I saw in the corner, alot of toys and supplies i needed for my puppy. I grabbed them and ran to my room. I threw the supplies on my bed and sat in my chair holding my new puppy to my face. We looked at each other for awhile. I was trying to figure out a name. I opened my mouth a little. And the puppy lurched forward and kissed my on the cheek. I giggled.
"I guess you like kisses...I think i will name you Kisses." I said. And hugged my Kisses. I set up its bed and water bowl and pee pad in the corner. I threw some toys around the bed and put the shampoo in the bathroom. When i returned to the room. Kisses had already found a spot on my bed and was sound a sleep. I kissed her head and ran downstairs.
''Mom! I am going to go walk around. I have my cell phone. LOVE YOU!" I said.
"Alright! Be home before dark!" She said watching to CSI. I yelled a okay and grabbed my jacket and ran out the door. I was walking and texting my best friend from home. When i ran into someone. Or they ran into me.
"Oh sorry! I am so sorry! Are you okay?!" A girl said. She had straight brown hair and eyes. She had a concerned look.
"Oh. Sorry. That was my bad. Yeah i am okay. Thanks." i said. I extended my hand.
"Hi. I am new. I am Emma Mills." i said.
"Hi. I am Elena." She said as she shook my hand.
"Would you like me to show you around?" She said.
"Really? Thanks!" i said.
"Yeah, i was just going to meet up with my boyfriend, Stephan."
"Oh. No. Go hang out with him." i said.
"Oh no. I can cancel on him. Unless you want to meet him?" She asked.
"Sure. But can we go get ice cream. I am craving some rocky road."
Hahah! Me too! Rocky Road is my favorite! Yeah sure let me just tell him." She said and she pulled out her phone. We both started walking forward to Stephan's house. We talked for a long time. Than she had a worried expression.
"Elena? Are you okay?" i said. Waving my hand in front of her face.
"Oh yeah. But before we meet Stephan. I should let you know his brother Damon will be there. And well lets just say he isnt good. So be careful around him. Okay?" she said, she was dead serious.
"Okay...." I said, alittle confused. We walked around the corner and saw two guys sitting on a porch on a old style house. Elena smiled and immediately went to the one with the light brown hair and brown eyes. He was incredibly gorgeous. He smiled to me as he hugged Elena. My eyes found them connecting with blue eyes as i turned my head to look at the other brother. This one was different. He was rougher looking, older looking too. He was black long hair and piercing blue eyes. He looked me up and down. That made me feel vulnerable. I didnt like this guy. I looked to Elena who was staring at Stephan, who was staring at Damon, Who was staring at me.
"Hello. I am Damon." Damon said.
"Hi. I'm Emma." i said after a long pause. I didnt trust this guy. At all. But i felt drawn to him. I didnt like that either.
"Shall we get some ice cream?" Stephan said as he grabbed Elena's hand.
I smiled. And walked to Elena's other side. And Damon went to Stephan's. Thank god. i thought. Once i said that. Damon smirked and walked to my other side. I didnt realize i was staring at him intently. I stopped immediately and watched my feet. This is going to be a quiet night. As Elena talked to Stephan about her day. As me and Damon kept stealing glances at each other. Both avoiding meeting eyes, again. I sighed and thought about Rocky Road ice cream.
