Chapter One ~ The Pain
I awoke.
He was beside me. I breathed slowly, pretending to still be asleep.
"I know you're awake. Don't pretend," he mumbled into my ear. I tensed slightly, praying he would leave me alone. I noticed the room was dark and cold, and the only light was from a window, far away.
"Fine, then. Kill her," he muttered, and I heard a scream far off.
Kaitlyn.
"Don't! Oh My God, help! Roxy, don't let him kill me!" she was crying. I tried to run to the sound of her call, but he grabbed me and stopped me.
"Knew you were awake," he muttered. I groaned as I heard Kaitlyn screaming the living daylights out of herself.
"Don't kill her! You monster!" I yelled at him. I could see him smiling ever so slightly.
"Fine. Don't kill her, guys," he called, and I heard a thumping sound as she was dropped. I closed my eyes, for what seemed like years. When I opened them, the lights were on. I saw Kaitlyn far off, half dead. Tears were falling to my knees.
"How could you do that, just hurt people like that, Brandon?!" I cried. He smiled.
"I like watching you hurt," he grinned, a twisted evil smile.
"You used to be my best friend!" I moaned, as he started to hit me.
"And am I not now?" he asked innocently, pausing in his punches.
"Sick," I spat. He lifted me and threw me half way across the room. He took a pin out of his pocket and stabbed my wrist with it. I yelped. He laughed. He took me to a separate room, and started slapping me.
"No escape this time," he mumbled, and kissed my neck. I closed my eyes.
"I hate you, you worthless load of nothing," I muttered, and he thrust the knife into my stomach.
I fell. He laughed. Kaitlyn screamed from outside.
No, I'm wrong.
I was screaming.
Blackness.
