Just a Typical Day in the Life of a Teenage Girl

Book club today! I don't like reading, it gets tiring really fast. But all my friends do it, and I'm good at it, so I thought why not? I'm gonna stop after this year though. Anhyways, the author of the book put internet links in the book so you could watch a movie about what's going on in the book as you read. Purdy cool stuff. And we're gonna Skype him, so we had to come up with questions to ask him. Mine were:
1) How old did you say the main characters were? Were the actors the same age? I think not...
2) What's your favorite flavor of fruit juice?
3) Do you have pets? If so, what are they?
4) What's your favorite color?
5) Do you enjoy ducks? Because the actor that played Sarah was obviously a duck. I mean, did you see the way she walked and moved? She was like, a total duck! Where did you find a big enough duck to play a teenage girl? And where'd you get the girl costume? And how did you train the duck to speak english?

By the time we shared our questions, I had shown most of my friends that were there, which are most of the people in my grade that were there. Everyone laughed when I said it, and the librarian promised not to call on me anymore. But I knew that she knew that I had a point. I mean seriously! Total duck.

I can't wait 'til school ends! Everyone is all anxious. I'm not doing any homework anymore, and the late assignments are piling up. I wish it were fall so soccer season would start back up. What kind of sport do you play in the summer? There's swimming...but you have to wake up super early, so that's out of the question. Hmm. I'll think about it. I might just bike all summer, when I'm not hanging out with friends.

We challenged our fans to a skit war today at courtyard. Me, Caitlin (Cheese) an Maddie (Applesauce) create funny skits off the top of our heads in courtyard. They're so funny that we have a fan group, and we challengd them. So far, my group has come up with the idea of desperate foreign exchange students talking to the manipulative American cool girls. Classic! It's gonna be epic!
