What? No way! (Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy Love Story) Part 9

R: "He doesn't like me! We are just friends! I'm sorry but that's it. I'm sorry I yelled at you."
J: "It's fine. But Rose can't you see this. It's exactly like you mum and dad's relationship. They were friends and wouldn't tell each other. Your mum had to go through a lot in her Sixth year. They didn't kow the other liked them. Only because they were to scared to tell. When they thought they were going to die they showed each other how they felt. Do you really want to end up like that? When one of you is in grave danger for your feelings to come out?"
R: Jen has a point "But Jen, what if he doesn't return the feelings?"
J: "Trust me he does."
R: "How do you know? What if I tell him and he just wants to be friends? What if this ruins our friendship?"
J: "First, I can tell by the way he looks at you. B, he doesn't he likes you, Tres, it won't because he likes you."
R: "But I just.. I just.. can't. It's a big risk to take and I don't want to take any chances."
J: "Fine"
R: "C'mon lets go home. It's getting colder and it's almost time for lunch."
J: "Race you there! And I'll beat you there!"
R: "Not if we skip to my house!"
J: "Whatever I'll still beat you there! Ready set--"
R: "GO!!"
They skip back to Rose's house. Rose wins by a couple seconds
R: "Yes! I won! In your face!!"
J: "Only cause you cheated!"
"Girls what is going on here?" Mum asked. "Oh well we were skipping to the house and I beat Jen." I said. "Only cause she cheated Mrs. Weasley." Jen said. "Oh girls. Well c'mon help set the table for lunch." Mum said. "For how many people?" I asked. "Um lets see there's five of us, then Jen, and then five other people." Mum answered. "Oh so the Potters are joining us for lunch? And five of you? I thought there was only four." Jen asked my mum. "Oh five now because of Scorpius. And yes the Potters are joining us, so that will be 11 people." Mum said. "Awesome" I said. Then I nudged Jen. "What was that for?" she whispered. "Oh so the Potters are joining us for lunch?" I said imitating her. "Eager to see James?" I teased. "Oh shut up" she hissed. "I'll get the plates, you get the cups" I said. "Ok." She said. When we were done mum set the food on the table. Hugo, James, Scorpius, and Lily entered followed by Uncle Harry, Aunt Ginny, and dad. "Hey guys" Jen and I said at the same time. We looked at each other and started laughing. "I swear you two are like twins sometimes." James said. "Well c'mon lets eat I'm starving!" Dad said. "Shocker" Mum said. We all started laughing but sat down. I made sure Jen was next to James, and she made sure I was next to Scorpius. Mum, dad, Uncle Harry, and Aunt Ginny had their own little table. And us kids did to. Scorpius, myself, and Hugo were on one side, and James, Jen, Lily, and Albus were on the other side. Lunch was great. We talked, made jokes, and laughed a lot. We shared stories about our experiences at Hogwarts with Hugo and Lily. The rest of the holidays went great. During the last week Jen stayed with us.
~At Train Station~
"Bye mum see you when school ends!" I said. I went to give my dad a hug. "I'll miss you dad." I said. "I'll miss you too sweetie." Dad said. He was getting watery eyed. "Dad please don't cry. Then I'll start crying." I said. "I'm not crying." Dad said. Then Scorp said, " Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Weasley for everything." "It was no problem" Mum said. Then she gave him a hug. "We will see you at the end of the school year Scorpius." Dad said. He then gave him a hug as well. (Awwww!!) Just then Scorpius' mum Astoria came over to us, not acompianied by Draco. Thank goodness. "Hello Scorpius" Astoria said. "Hello mother nice to see you." Scorpius said. "I miss you Scorpius. And so does your father. He regrets what he did that day and before that. He feels horrible." Astoria said. "We want you home." "I don't know about that mother. The incident has opened my eyes. I don't know if I can." Scorp said. "It's ok honey but your always welcome back." Astoria said. Then she turned to my parents. "Thank you for all you have done. I'm very sorry about Draco." she said. "Your welcome. Scorpius has been no problem. As for Draco it's not my house's door that he destroyed. Just tell him to think about what he is doing, especially to Scorpius. The child has been through enough." Dad said. "Well I will try with Draco. Goodbye then. Goodbye Scorpius." Astoria said. "Goodbye mother." Scorpius said. She then left. "Go on kids you don't want to miss the train." Mum said. We then went on to the train and tryed to fing an empty compartment. Scorp, Jen, James, Albus, and I all sat in one compartment. Liz, Jordan, and Marie had owled us and told us that they had stuff to do and wouldn't be able to join us. The compartment door opened and guess who it was? None other than..... (tbc)
