Twilight 6: DayBreak
A fan made version of the sixth book in the Twilight series (the fifth one might not have come out yet but it is a remake of the first twilight book from edwards perspective) in this book Rennesmee is full grown and as Bella and Edward's romance goes through some twists and turns Rennessmee's romance with Jacob become somewhat... 'boyfriend and girlfriend' but the volturi thinks it's wrong and they have to find a wya to be together before the volturi tear them apart.
I sit in a room. I can feel the tension and the argument echo from the other room. Well it's not exactly arguing... it's hushed whispers.
"She's too young!" My father whispers feircly
"It isn't about age it's about love." My mother whispers back irritated.
"First he's on you! Now he's on her! I won't allow it! He's much too old for her! He doesn't deserve her! I owe him nothing!"
"WE owe him a lot! After all he has done for us!"
I shake my head and stand up. The hushed whispers are immediately shushed. I tip toe down the hallway of our cottage but it's no use.
"Renessmee?" My father asks
"Yes?" I say in a small voice
"Come here Nessie."
I walk slowley in dragging my feet in dread.
"What do you think?" My mom asks
"About what?" I mumble but we all know what she's talking about
"About Jacob." My father says, jaw clenched
"Umm, I think that it is my decision." I say in a small voice
"YOU-" My father booms but cuts himself off and takes a deep breath "you need to recognize that you are only seven years old."
"I look fifteen."
"That doesn't matter." He barks
"I act fifteen."
"Fifteen year old's make mistakes and you aren't like others you have eternity you don't need to start on these kinds of things so young." I bite my bottom lip and look at my mother. I still remember when her eyes were that rich crimson. Now they shimmer a sparkling gold even in candle light.
"Consider this: Mom has told me the story of how you guys... came about... and I have a weird story too but you need to let... love find it's own path. You need to give happiness a chance." I take in a deep breath and watch as my fathers ears perk up just as I feel my heart start to pound in my chest. Besides that... its dead silence.
"I know you are... responsible but you have forever. Why start now?"
"Because..." I whisper "Forever isn't that long for love and I need love even for that short time. I want what you have with mom. I want-"
"What you want and what you need are different things. We will continue to talk about this in the morning. Goodnight."
I feel the tears spring into my eyes and purse my lips together. I spin around to go and stop in the doorway. I manage to choke out a few words.
"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb." Then I ran to my room.
